Celebrity sightings

When I worked as a CP in Spring & Fall of 2005 in Fantasyland, I saw many celebrities. I saw John Travolta come off of Its A Small World with his family, Joey Fatone and Joey Lawrence (Whoa!) get on Small World. I also helped guests like Haley Joel Osment, Fantasia Barrino [American Idol winner], Nelly, and a few others celebrities like "Mommy to MJ" and her family (is she is still on these boards??) onto Peter Pan's Flight.

When I was there two years ago I met Natasha Stillwell from the Discovery Channel. She was very nice and let us take a picture with her. We saw her at MGM filming LMA. :sohappy:

My first ever celebrity siting was Don Knotts at MGM. I sat about two rows down from Michael J. Fox and his kids at Fantasmic. I saw Carrie Fischer and Jeremy Bullock (Boba Fett) at Star Wars Weekends. I missed Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), but my dad caught him on tape during his motorcade. One Easter, we saw Regis and some co-host for the Disney Easter parade doing their hosting thing...although I don't remember seeing them. Did you all know that they didn't do their part on the same day/time as the actual parade? I think they actually did it maybe a day or two before Easter. Also, while staying at Boardwalk one trip, my family and I were sitting outside waiting for our room to become available when a pro tennis player walked past us (my sister's the sports fan, so I'll have to ask her who he was).

No luck for me:shrug: But i knwo when there is ALOT of famous people there but i would never go cause waits would be like Three Hours, During the Christmas Season, when they film the parade!

Oprah was there filming something years ago and I saw her on the back balcony of Cinderella's Castle (With Cinderella) waving to the crowd.

Last year Wayne Brady was there broadcasting for the 50th Celebration and I saw him during the telecast and then later on when he and a group of people with him cut everyone in line for Peter Pan's Flight.

Then there's random celebs I've seen during Star Wars Weekends over the years. Can't think of their names at the moment.

Just yesterday I saw Mary Poppins, Snow White, Cinderella, Alice, Peter Pan, Mickey, Goofy, Chip, Brer Bear, Malificent, and Arielle using backstage staircases to get to thier favorite attractions. Talk about magical. :lol:

When I was a cast member in 03 I met several celebrities, Steven Tyler and Micheal Jackson at the store I worked at. Also I met Warwick Davis, he played wicket in Star wars, I met Hugh Heffner and a couple bunnies getting on the peter pan ride. Also John Travolta and Kelly Preston and their kids after peter pans flight. All of them were really nice except, Micheal was kinda too himself.

I'm so terrible at recognizing faces that someone famous could be standing there talking to me and I'd never notice who it was. So the only famous people I know I've seen there are the ones who were supposed to be there, like the Candlelight Processional narrators, Flower Power/Eat to the Beat performers, and Star Wars Weekends celebrities. (Did get my picture with Anthony Daniels....that rocked! )

But my parents got shoved aside once by Michael Jackson's entourage in the Magic Kingdom. He was in the middle of a bunch of people, and the one at the front was yelling at people to get out of the way.

Spent a lovely time at the boneyard in AK with Jimmy Page and his family. I did not even get one picture! I wanted him to have the time to relax with his child or grandchild.

We saw Hulk Hogan in the early 90's when they were filming something on location. I remember well because of the deep tan/blonde hair he looked plastic.

During a Christmas trip in 1997 we saw Ben Savage and the girl who played Topanga from Boy Meets World

I saw them also! Another trip we were in Epcot and just missed a performance from Nsync, but saw Tyrese(?)... still not so sure who he is..

When I was there in December we saw, Marie Osmand, And Regis and Kelly. And I think the Cyrus girl who plays Hannah Montana. Can't think of her first name right now. I'm sure there were others creeping around as we were there when they taped the Christmas parade.

Sweet! I would rather meet Joe Rhode than any other celebrity mentioned in this thread.


Although...meeting Brad Garrett would be pretty sweet. Everybody Loves Raymond rocks!!!!!!!

When I was a CM, I met Rosie O'donnell (put her and her family on Peter Pan). I also saw John Travolta and his family being escorted through Fantasyland, and I was at dispatch on IASW when George Lucas came on. I think there was a couple others, but I can't remember.

Oh yeah! I saw Drew Carey at PI, and I met Brad Sherwood there, as well. He is TALL!


AND, a couple months ago, my friends saw Barry Williams (Greg Brady) watching the British Invasion. He was dancing in the hedge maze with his family.
