Celebrity Headshots at Mama Melrose's

Since Mama Melrose's will be gone in a few months, I was thinking about all of the celebrity headshots hanging in the lobby. It made me wonder, has anyone made and posted a list of which celebrities are hanging in the restaurant?

Also it would be cool if Sid Cahuenga's was still around as they could sell the pictures there. A good number would be scooped up immediately!

I'm afraid that Mama is going to be the main guest at the funeral. It was like the St. Valentines Day Massacre. The big boys rushed in an killed everything in that particular area. Other funerals still to be scheduled is for the Muppet's Show.
Thanks for the update. I would rather see Sci-Fi closed. That was a terrible dining experience for us. Those car booths were so uncomfortable, it was so dark you couldn’t see your food, and the food itself was really bad.

My only experience there was one time and when I got the bill, it was for me and for the table of four behind me. I, of course, called the waitress over and asked what happened since I was alone at the next table. Her answer was many shades of wrong. First she said that she thought I was with them (even though my back was to them). When I asked her what made her decide that I should get the bill and not them. Her reply was... "Well, I saw you get up and ask them to give you the ketchup from that table. I then asked why she then though that I was sitting alone I was the one that was going to pay. Her reply was... "they were all women and I just thought they were with them then you when you asked them for the ketchup I assumed you knew them". I then said that was quite a stretch and the only reason why I asked them for the Ketchup was because you didn't make sure I had some on my table".

I wasn't really mad, just wasn't really able to wrap my head around the whole thing. She corrected it and we all lived happily ever after, however, I never have been back again. Plus I saw the entire loop of old movies at least three to four times before I even got my order. I didn't report it, because the way she handled everything I also made an assumption that she was new and hopefully she never made that mistake again.

Don't go to your neighbors house to borrow a cup of sugar. You'll be on the hook for paying their mortgage payment that month.

Sids was always a stop and look around for us. Unfortunately their prices at that time were out of our league but now I could afford something collectible so I missed out. It would be nice to see some of those be routed over to an Art of Disney shop to sell. Another alternative would be to find room in Brown Derby to display them.

Not gonna lie, it's a very varied group there. Rather than count all the ones I know, I'll post who my favorite one is.
Easy Curtis "Booger" Armstrong. The side kick to John Cusack in a few of his 80s movies and one of the nerds in Revenge of the Nerds.

61.
@muddyrivers. It’s Pat Morita (not Patty). He was Mr. Miyagi in The Karate Kid.
This site won’t allow Jerry Van D’s full name. He’s the brother of DVD. (Similar spelling - Dike)
Thanks! Autocorrect popped up a few times while I was putting the names into Excel to sort them. Corrected Pat's name, and Jerry's name shows correctly in the edit post function, so just need to petition @wdwmagic to not censor that word :P

Some honorable mentions…

Gary Burgoff, otherwise known by most tv viewing audiences in the 70s and 80s as ‘Radar O’ Reilly’ from ‘M.A.S.H’.

Noriyuki ‘Pat’ Morita is of course best known for playing Mr. Miyagi in the 1984 film ‘The Karate Kid’ as well as it’s second sequel.
Disney fans may know Pat from his character voicework as the Emperor in Disney’s animated film ‘Mulan’.
He also appeared in many tv shows such as ‘Happy Days’, ‘M.A.S.H’, and more.

David Cassidy was a very popular teen heartthrob personality from the 1970s.
A actor and recording artist, he is best known for playing the role of Keith on the musical tv sitcom ‘The Partridge Family’.

Ernie Hudson should be a name every fan of the Ghostbusters franchise knows.
If you don’t, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
👻

Ernie played the immortal role of Winston Zeddmore in the blockbuster 1984 film ‘Ghostbusters’ as well as various sequels and spin offs.

Wil Wheaton all the Trekkies should know…who is best known for playing the role of Wesley Crusher in the 1990s tv series ‘Star Trek : The Next Generation’.
He also played the role of Gordie in the 1986 film ‘Stand By Me’, as well as various animated tv character voices over the years.

Pat Morita was in all three of the original Karate Kid sequels, not just Part III. Archive footage of him has also been used in Cobra Kai and I wouldn’t be surprised if the same is true of Karate Kid: Legends.
