Celebrities at WDW

Two years ago Dec we were in line for Peter Pan when the ride was stopped and we were the next in line, when out from the back came Michael Jackson and family. We were as close to him as I am to this computer. It was awesome.

Also forgot, :hammer: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donal Duck, Daisy Duck,etc

Somehow it doesnt suprise me that Michael Jackson was on Peter Pan.. afterall he does live in Neverland lol!! All jokes aside its pretty cool that you saw him!

Also one of my friends was at WDW and they were waiting in line for TOT and they had to WAIT so Mariah Carey and her entourate could get on!!!

also when one of my friends was down there she was in line for TOT and she had to stop and wait for Mariah Carey and her entourage could get on.

OMG! I would have freaked out. I am a HUGE Mariah fan. I finally saw her concert last September after waiting 13 years. LOL

i've seen nsync except for the chris one, regis and kelly, hilary duff, wayne brady, andy roddick at universal, tom brady, orlando bloom and his girlfriend from blue crush (forgot her name) at disneyland, and eisner and that al weiss dude but i don't know if they are celebs or not..i'm probably forgetting people.

My best friend works in concierge at one of the deluxe resorts and he is always meeting and working with the celebs. He told me I get to have his job when I move down there next summer so I can't wait! He had to get pepto bismol for John Stamos and medicine for Whitney Houston's dogs (I think it was for her at least)! :lol: He has also been on the elevator with Beyonce Knowles, and just recently was with Oprah Winfrey's fitness guru. He has the greatest job in the world, working with celebs...at WDW!

EDIT: I have also met thousands of celebs myself. They work REALLY hard everyday on the job and love what they do. Of course there are those selected few who hate their job. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about...the WDW CMs. They are celebs in my eyes and deserve all the star treatments.

Ooh that would be awesome! Although it would be cooler to meet Dale Jr. or Jeff Gordon (my two favorite drivers...I know I'm weird for liking both of them) I met a couple of Martin Truex's crew guys at the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway. I'm going to the Brickyard so maybe I'll meet someone there! (unlikely though but one can hope)

We were in one of the live Wayne Brady shows that was done at Epcot last March. He had one of the Backstreet Boys and Phil Collins there. It was his high school reuinion show. That was fun.

That is cool, Mr Bill. Where was he at in the park? We were at WDW a few days before the Daytona 500 this year. There were lots of Nascar fans, but no drivers. I talked with Steve Park when he was driving for DEI at a couple of races, but I have never met my two faves, Junior and Gordon (hence the 8 and 24 in my name).

When Mariah is staying at Disney, she is nothing but a headache to the hotel staff. She once made security clear out the lobby and shut it down at the Yacht Club just so she could walk through it. Her reason was she didn't want anyone staring at her. I hate pompass celebrities. Which is why I could care less when I do see them. They put there pants on just like me. So gtting back to Mariah, If you saw her she would have probrably shunned you.

I forgot when I posted before, I got to see Rosie O'donnell. I had tickets for her last set of shows from Disney. I had stated before that I have a friend that has a sister who works for Disney. Part of her job is to escort some of these celebs. Mostly all of them are very nice, but she said that Rosie, the Judds especially the mother, where real pain in the neck. The Judds wanted to bring there little dog into the beach club and really fought over it. The other one that I was told about and not by her was a Martha Stewart. She had been to Disney about 5 or 6 years ago to do a shoot. They told me that the real sweet demour of her was not there when she was at Disney. She was a real pain in the ------------!She was mean, rude, nasty and very demanding.

one year the group of school kids i was with chaced after the guys from step by step during that year all the abc shows went to wdw. that was the same year i met jason marsden we said we keep in touch and never did. i met justin timberlake back when they were doing the mmc.

my friend made a joke and said this august you will the celebrity everyone sees. i said those days of people recongizing me from idol are over which is sad but i had a good run :lol:

I didn't meet her, but I saw Oprah taping a segment for her show with Cinderella at the rear section of the castle in MK. I have a couple pictures of her waving to the crowd. I was also there during the time rosie o'donnel was taping her show in the Tarzan theater in AK. It was our first trip there after Tarzan had opened and we were very disappointed that we missed it because of her. Just one of many reasons why I dislike rosie so much, but that's another topic entirely. Grrrrr

Same here. I have no respect for any celeb. who's like that. Just because their job is entertaining, makes them no better than anyone else. I think they forget that they work for us, the fans, and that we are the ones who put the money in their pockets.

I have met several celebs who are sweet and down to earth, but none at Disney World.

The first time I went was right after *NSYNC did a TV concert there and they shoud the group casting their handprints in cement. When we went I wnated a pic of my hand in Justin's. Did you guys know they aren't there?? The guy in front of TGMR said people who are often there don't get their handprints put down. That stinks in my opinion. What do you think??

Also...I got so caught up in the whole *NSYNC thing I forgot to mention when I actually saw/met celebs...LOL! The 1st time I went was on fathers day and the had a big parade at MGM with the cast of Home Improvment...I saw Zachary Ty Bryan(hott) and then on my 3rd trip I met Lavare Burton(Jordi from Star Trek TNG and Reading Rainbow).
