CBF's 2/22 Update: it's a character and wall world

Not too many pics today, as yesterday was the strangest day I've ever witnessed at the Disneyland Resort. For one, it was insanely crowded, the "Celebrate Today" promotion must really be working. As I arrived at the park at 9 AM, as you might have heard, baggage check was shut down to guests due to powder found on several ticket booths.

Thanks for the update. Shame about the walls but I guess it's for a good cause.

When you say crowded, how crowded was it? Your pics didn't really show any big crowds? Any idea what the wait times were like?

Well, I'd say about maybe a half an hour to 45 minutes for the bigger rides. I think that it was just one of those fluke weekends, what with the 2fer special going on. I didn't really take very many pics outside because I couldn't stop in one place for 2-3 seconds without getting hit by a stroller.

Well I know it started Friday with the insane crowds. We were there last week till Sat.
Seemed to be a bunch of high schools there coming in on friday (20th). They were all running around like idiots friday night.

Heads up people! This Friday is CSF night. There will be more maniac kids running around like idiots. I know because one of them will be mine. I've chaperoned this night before for my school and I won't do it anymore. Too many issues of cutting lines. Good luck for those of you who will be vacationing during this time. Maybe head over to the Uva Bar?!

Though I think you labled something as a facade for little mermaid when it was for goofy's flyin school or whatever they overlay for mulhound madness is.

I'm still indifferent on the disney characters on small world... maybe when I see it in person in like 2-3 years.

You're right, I did mislabel the Sky Skool pic, It's fixed.

I forgot to weigh in on the changes in IASW. I thought that everything was great until I came into the new America scene. It just didn't have the same feel as the rest of the ride, all scenery and almost completely empty of dolls except for the horrendous Jessie and Woody dolls.
