Casual Regular or Seasonal Positions

I am interested in hearing any advice about hourly Casual employment at WDW. I retired six months ago and moved from NY to Orlando area. After settling in, I'm ready to try my luck at landing a part-time position. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a background in IT and HR but would love a job just being out there interacting with people and contributing to their Disney experience - cashier in a shop would be great. I don't know much about what options there are though. Any thoughts would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance!

The best place to start is waltdisneyworld.jobs. All hourly positions are now posted there, and that is where you'll be required to start the application process.

Thank you, Captain Hank.

I have done just that last week. I received an email inviting me to participate in a web interview. Hope that goes well for me.

Don't expect a ton of hours if you are part-time for many areas. I only get 12 - 16 on a regular basis. During the busy season though, expect a lot.
