I, too, loved the castle cake.

But I have to admit that the decorations were quite clever. A huge monument to Pepto-Bismol, but clever.

I think it might be to over the top when there done. I love the golden charaters but I think all the other gold is a bit much. Maybe that is because I love the way the castle looks to begain with.

I agree, WDW cindys castle already looks really really nice, compared to DLs which is not as grand and very small. DL is the one celebrating, but I think so far so good, and I dont think I really mind all the characters up there as long as they are temparory.

LOL, I was about to ask how all of you see King Louie but I have figured it out. I also thought it was the Fantasia ostrich. (Tilt your head to the left to see Louie.) The concept art isn't very good, when it first came out I thought the Cheshire Cat was Gene.

Nice pics! I can't decide whether or not the gargoyles from The Hunchback of Notre Dame belong alongside the classic Disney greats...okay, they don't...but I like the little touches of Disney magic.

I love the Hunchback Gargoyles (although it doesn't hurt that Hunchback is my second favorite film & favorite theme park show). I love how all the statues capture the personality of the respective character.
