Ok, I went to WDW in June and the first day we went to MGM Studios. We went to the "One's Man Dream" exhibit and we were looking at the model of Cinderella's Castle. A cast member came up to us and asked the question..."Do you know how many bricks there are in the castle?" Well, having read a story of a woman who claimed that a brick hit her on the head underneath the castle, and there are none, I answered..."None". I then told the man that I knew that and told him that story. He then told us that he shouldn't be telling this other story, about a woman who claimed that in a part of The Living Seas when you dive down, but you really don't , that her ears popped, and then sued the company. What is the worst that could happen to a cast member that tells a guest something that they shouldn't be telling?

Well, the bricks question is a trivia question. Nothing should happen to him for that.

The other one shouldn't have been told, but I don't think that he should have told that. It would have and has appeared in media that the public could easily access so it wasn't a big secret.

If something that a CM says is serious enough, they could get fired and even sued for breach of contract.

Yeah, Ive heard that one too. She never did get to sue th company though. They just laughed at her. That's not really a big deal, im not sure what would hppened if a supeior found out.

We talked to a cast member and he told us he cannot reveal what caracter he is or he will automatically be fired, also he cannot defend himself if he is attacked by a guest and I think he told us something like you lose 3 days pay if you do not do the 2 finger disney point.

They use the index + middle finger to point...it's a lot more polite looking to use two fingers instead of one :)

everything about it is correct except the Disney point. There's really no action that can be taken if you forgot, other than a reminder. The 3 day paycut is a bunch of B.S... otherwise I'd owe Disney a lot of cash

Start crying. CM's have been terminated for that before.

I have talked to CM's that have been characters. The line that I have heard is "I know Mickey (or whatever charactre they portray) very well"
