Carriage Ride

Are you looking to stay or just to take the ride around?

If your looking for a place to stay:

I have stayed at both.....I for one love the Wilderness Lodge....Hubby and I would go back in a heart beat.....

Just a very cozy and inviting one.

WL-cozy, rustic. Smaller resort than SSR meaning not as spread out. Beautiful!

SSR is nice as well. Its closer to DTD if you like that sort of thing but does have a lot more bus stops and walking to do around the resort.

I don't think you could go wrong with either one really. But it would depend on whether you want a 'hotel' room or a villa/studio.

WL is a resort as well as a DVC property so it has rooms as well. SSR on the other hand has only studios 1 & 2 Bedrooms and villas.

Something to keep in mind.

Have a great trip!

We have never stayed at SS but toured there when considering the DVC. We have stayed at FW and to me, it is hands down the best place to see things, especially at night. It is wooded and quiet, SS seems like a hotel chain with the buildings all looking the same. Once again, it is just my opinion! Either way, you will be at my happy place so it can't be all that bad!

My parents went on the FW Carriage Ride and it was fabulous! They have a ton of pictures, saw wildlife, and beautiful sunset. My sister and BIL went to Port Orleans the same night for theirs, and they were jealous of my parents. The said theirs was nice, but seemed as my parents was nicer. I didn't know they had a carriage ride available at SSR
