Carousel of Progress

Sorry if this has been posted already, I have been looking around trying to find out...

I am going to be in Disney World May 16-22 and I was wondering if Carousel of Progress is open these days or is it seasonal. I would love to see it again when I go down there. Let me know! Thanks:sohappy:

Oh, I LOVE the CoP! I think it is almost always open now! How wonderful!

I'll actually be there the day after you leave but to my understanding it is seasonal-- they open it according to park attendance-- etc... I was there is sept. and it wasn't terribly busy but part of the time it was open and part it was closed-- it just depends. Most likely it will be open when you are there over the weekend--

when I went last may I thought it was going to be closed, but it wasn't. SO it just all depends, and we went on it and all my fiance could do after going on it was sing the song over and over and over again, and he only knows the 1 part of it!!!

It was open in january, however, after riding mission space i did not feel up to CoP.

Though it's been officially listed as seasonal for the last year or so, it's also been open every single day for the last two + years. (Excluding a few days of rehab time last year.)

No worries. It's open full time.

I second MissM's post -- I have been there at various times over the past couple years, peak and not peak, and it has never been closed except for occasional day or two maintenance. Expect it to be open on your trip.

It was open in mid January (2006) when I was there and the parks were not busy at all. This is a good thing since it is one of my favorite attractions!

With Time Keeper currently closed, COP will most likely be open.
