Ugh it's the CoP Seasonal freak out again of the mid 00's that it was closing for good...

This tweet seemingly confirms that the attraction is having serious maintenance issues. Do we think it’s really at risk of closing? I think that would be the death knell for the MK for me. I can't imagine it without the CoP.
Dont worry... replacement motors have already been ordered and are currently being tested...

time to fire up the duplicator from hista, does that thing even still work?So that’s why they brought Hamsterviel out last month!
In all seriousness, CoP isn’t going anywhere. It’ll probably get a lengthy refurb and maybe some updates if this rumor is even true, but it’s not leaving the park.
I bet the same thing was confidently stated about ROA and TSI.So that’s why they brought Hamsterviel out last month!

We're talking about CoP, the attraction that never has a wait time longer than the next show...underutilized and ignored by guests for decades. One has historical significance to Walt Disney himself. The other is a copy of a Disneyland attraction that’s been underutilized and ignored by guests for decades.

Considering CoP was one of Walt's signature attractions at the '64 World's Fair, I'd say it holds some significant ties to him.Ignore an important first part of my message, but okay.
The first part of your message is immaterial.Ignore an important first part of my message, but okay.
It’s really not.The first part of your message is immaterial.
The historical significance angle didn’t save MV3D.One has historical significance to Walt Disney himself. The other is a copy of a Disneyland attraction that’s been underutilized and ignored by guests for decades.
You’re right, everything that doesn’t command long waits and does not require LLs should be closed and the space should remain closed if it’s determined it’s too costly to replace. This serves to make anything that remains open in higher demand and potentially sell more LLs.We're talking about CoP, the attraction that never has a wait time longer than the next show...underutilized and ignored by guests for decades.![]()
