I am going down in December and I don't see anything on the Disney site of COP being closed. Is it still seasonal or operational? I haven't seen it in years because it was always closed for the season when I go. Sorry, I know someone is going to bite my head off for the question! :shrug:

COP is no longer seasonal. It is curreently open every day during park hours.

Looks like your head is still attached!
I was on it in August, and the CMs told me that it does run everyday now, although its operating hours may be limited. I think the day I was at MK, CoP ran 11-8 or so, even though the park was open 9 am - 11 pm. Still, it was open.
One thing that worried me regarding how long it will stay open is that when I saw the show, it was raining, and the CMs warned everybody to sit only in the first 4 rows, because anything behind that was at risk of an unwanted shower. I checked a couple times, and there were certainly spots in the back half of the theater where you would've come off CoP wetter than when you come of Splash Mountain.

They need to spuce up the outside entrance to the COP attraction so it will attract more people.
It's a great attraction but from the outside it is very plain and can even be mistaken for a maintenance building.
