Carousel of Progress exterior refurbishment

I'm all for whatever love they care to throw CoP's way. Can only hope that one day they decide to dust inside the attraction...

I like the colors, I guess. Better than Epcot's "kaleidoscope" makeover. I'd need to see a full picture of the finished product, but I liked, more or less, what they did with Astro/Lunching Pad paint job, so it looks to be more of the same.

At least this poor thing is finally getting SOMETHING ... lol

Finally... the font is correct... a nice wide-set, low-center midcentury industrial!

The goofy tall, skinny, faux-deco garbage on the old gear sign really chapped my rump...rumpus room.

They're nailing it, far as I'm concerned! I would have liked this more appropriate late modern aesthetic on Space Mountain rather than the Googie, '50s look from the last refurb.

Really liking the new paint scheme and I like the logo. At least they're doing a nice paint job in Tomorrowland. It's something. Too bad they don't see the other issues ...

It's a mask. Look closely at this pic from twitter (@DisneyBySteph). You can see the lines in the now revealed design and "Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress".

Wow! Looking great. Did MK get a new art director? Let's hope so. I think I'm more excited about this paint job than Star Wars Land and Avitar Land combined. I'm not even kidding.

I wish they would be able to replace the red/pink neon in Tomorrowland and near the Fountain of Nations with a color changing LED. It would look really updated.

Granted I don't want to see all of Tomorrowland painted this way. Maybe subtle knods here and there, but this artist or team really gets it and I hope it's contagious at MK!
