Carousel of Progress exterior refurbishment

@marni1971 are we going to keep getting these sly improvements to Tomorrowland? And is it part of a major aesthetics change?

These signs actually beat the main sign to the punch....they were there during my visit, Sept 15-19.

It wasn't today, if you mean the one on the curtain.


Also, add me to the list if fawners. Great sign, great paint job, looks swell. Something classy in that zoo they turned the MK in, who'd have thought.

Boy, what I wouldn't give to see a new medallion and a new kaleidophonic screen.

Speaking of the kaleidophonic screen, I imagine it not being to hard to recreate it.

I mean, they built, what I presume to be, a fully working replica for the Tomorrowland movie. They have the patents and blueprints for it: https://www.google.com/patents/US3241419. They even know what the presentation should look like:

And imagine what it would look like with modern LEDs and computer programming.

Was there last week and loved the new paint! Even DH thought it was a big improvement. The 'new' rocks and CoP paint really make the rest of the area look shabby, though. Let's hope they ordered more for the other buildings. (And, the sign in the opening room is still crooked. )

As for loading, it was through the far left door only, and there were nice crowds mos times we rode it.

Attendance for The Carousel Progress has gone up. Shows that if Disney just updates things they can disperse crowds better. Thankfully they are finally doing things.

you can get those kaleidoscopic screens at art supply stores, they're aren't real fashionable these days but they never went away

Edit, after a further look, maybe those aren't finger prints. You'd have to walk through the landscaping to get to the sign.
