Carousel of Progress being evacuated

The theater is the attraction vehicle, you can certainly restrain them to their vehicle. While on RnRC you cannot leave the building anytime you want to either...you have to wait to be released from your ride vehicle.

If they still had CM's riding they could have a form of latch that wouldn't allow folks to just get up and walk out, but since they opted to not have CM's in each theater they would have to leave the doors unlatched to facilitate an emergency. Remember things can happen in any of the theaters that you are not presently in that you would have no way of being aware of it.

Surely it must be obvious that the theatre moves as the outer wall moves? And it's called a Carousel?? Or it says somewhere in the opening speil that the theatre moves? Or are some people just that much in a daze that they don't even notice?

Meh.

You, of course, are correct, but, don't call me Surely! :)

It is desperate indeed. Even the chairs are starting to tip downward like Sounds Dangerous' chairs did the last few years, noticed that this year too in Muppets.

Hate to say it, but the theater has a certain smell to it.....nothing foul, just an odor....which always brings me back to my childhood when I am there. Maybe thats why I like it so much.

It has been many years since I rode this ride. Are the exits that people are using the same that you use at the end of the ride? Or could they be marked emergency exit only with the alarms that sound when you open them?

Of course its obvious and yes, they do make an announcement (at least they used to). No one is in a daze. You're forgetting that many people today are self-absorbed a**bags and think that they should be able to do anything they want. You have no idea how many people I have heard use the excuse "Well its not hurting anyone. Why do you care?" If we have to be disrupted for a moment while they leave the theater, even after being told not to, then who are we to get upset? Remember, its all about them.

Alarms would not deter the arrogant people that are causing this. All we would have then is mass panic when the idiots in the theater think that the fire alarm is going off and then they rush the exit en masse.
