wow. someone tell me this is real. cause i believe i'm still asleep. that i'm going to wake up tomorrow and it'll be sunday and the panthers will have to face the Eagles and that they're going to lose...
but it IS real. the Cats ARE going to the Super Bowl.

Well, letsee, i'm not that congenial. :fork: Call it what you will, poor sportsmanship, bad attitude, or just a Philly Sports Fan but nevber have a seen such a poorly officiated game. The quarterback gets speared while he's on his back and on the ground and there's no call!? Puh-leeze..... Ive seen people get mauled less violently in the hockey playoffs then the panther secondary did all game long.
And i'm supposed to congratulate them? Maybe with D-Cell Batteries.... shame its not the vet anymore....:fork: :fork: :fork:

Yeah. Too bad Santa wasn't there. He coulda got booed again.
Not to rub in salt or anything, but certain teams have a certain karma, I'm thinking Cubs, Eagles, Red Sox, etc. Alot of that karma comes from their fans, IMHO. Even the announcers commented on how it seemed like the tension level in that stadium yesterday was so high, just waiting for them to fail.
As far as bad officiating goes, I've never seen a game as bad as the Florida/Florida State game this year.
I also hope your kidding. Like them or not It's not their fault the officiating was bad. Do i like the panthers yes, do I hate the pats yes (plz dont bash me
) but like it or not the Pats will win the super bowl and i WONT be throwing any batteries.

Why would anyone bash you? Because you like the Panthers? What's wrong with that? Be strong if you like a team...don't care what others think! Support what/who you like and be proud of that support!

Me, i'm kidding... I personally wouldnt do that. However, it's been done before at the vet. When Former Philly 1st ROund Draft Pick JD Drew appeared at the vet, after he went back in the draft (refused to sign with the phillies) and the cardnials took him, the outfield fans threw anything and everything at him, even those energizers...
Hell, we evern cheered Michael Irving nearly breaking his neck on the carpet of the vet :fork:
Need i remind anyone about why they had a court and jail at the stadium?
21 years without a championship is a lot to deal with, especially with the recent chokings of the eagles and flyers and phillies over the past few seasons. (all we had to do was play 500 ball over the last month and florida wouldnt have made it in :brick: )
Its not like i'm wishing anythign horrid or disasteroius on carolina, like say a mountain in front of their aircraft. Just minor stuff, oh yeah, and a pittiful showing on super bowl sunday.... :fork: :fork:

That was actually a little lite humor. I am and always will be a PROUD Pittsburgh Steeler fan. The Panthers are my 2nd fav.

Ya know what's funny....I'm a Pats fan...but my next favorite team is Miami... I think it goes back to the Marino times.
The "spearing" of McNabb was compeltely legal. as legal as your "fourth-and-26". the whistle was not blown until the defensive player (name slips my mind right now) touched McNabb's leg. they (being the officials) did not see any contact therefore did not rule it that way.
it wasn't only the officials. what about Thrash and Pinkston? They couldn't catch a thing all night. i also agree with Sean salsberry (sp?) witht he coaching of Reid. they had a great running back but when they finally used him it was too little too late.
the panthers just flat out dominated the eagles. holding them to the 3 points.
don't get me wrong i don't hate the eagles,what they need are some receivers. get the block off of McNabb's shoulders. give him receivers that can catch the ball, give him a running back to help him and a defense that can stop the run. make it a "team" effort and not a "McNabb has to" effort.
it's like the second time Carolina played the Falcons. the falcons didn't win, Mike Vick did.

As a St. Louis Rams fan I can care less who wins. Now even if we would of beat the Panthers I don't think they would of made it to the Super Bowl. Especially with stupid Marc Bulger as the QB.
So today I found out that Mcnab won't even be the quarterback for the NFC at the ProBowl it will be Marc Bulger. lol
