Can anyone tell me which is the best room to book at the CBR?
I've already requested a newly refurbished room on a second floor for April 13. I figured that it would make sense to have a room within a good walking distance, due to the fact that we are going to use the refillable mugs program. :slurp: :animwink:

I've stayed there twice, and the first time was better than the second. The first time we stayed in Aruba, but in the last building right next to Jamaica which was good for two reasons: 1. it was right near a bus stop 2. it was right near the bridge which goes across the lake to the main building. I forget where we stayed the second time, barbados maybe? it was on the end of the lake but pretty close to the main house. I just enjoyed walking over the bridge in the morning.

Aruba sounds like a plan for us. I'm quite anxious to see this bridge that you've mentioned. From Aruba, how much of a walking distance is it to the Center Towne or the food court for beverages? ;)

I stayed in Aruba. I think it is the best because it is across the bridge from the pool and lobby. It is quiet and fun to walk across the bridge and see the birds in the "zoo" in the middle of the bridge.

I would stay at Jamaica because even though it is far from Port Royale, it has the bridge that makes the walk very short. Just don't stay in Trinidad South or you will be walking for miles.

Request a room in Jamaica--it is not too far to the food court maybe a four minute walk and you are the first bus stop which was a big deal when we were there last week. Aruba was not too bad but by the time we got to the third bus stop the bus was often already full:)

Sitting on the beach facing Epcot is the best view.
When you mentioned that we can see the fireworks from the beach, which beach and from which building. We are staying in the Aruba section. As a matter of fact, would you happen to know if the Aruba and Jamaica buildings are the ones facing EPCOT for the fireworks? :D

Last time I was at CRB was in 1997 so I am not sure. All I can tell you is that I just sat on the beach, I cant remember where. I also stayed in Aruba, I liked it. Have a good trip.

We stayed in Aruba and from their beach looking back over the buildings you could see pretty good fireworks, but a lot of them were too low. We crossed the bridge to Port Royale and had a much better view from the beach there (plus, there was live music for atmosphere-- bonus!).
