October 1st looks more and more possible. If not then, it will be soon.

I really hope so, we are going Nov 17-27 and really hoping for this area to be complete, we can deal with Gondola construction, but if the food area and pool are open, we got a great deal!!! Keeping our fingers crossed

That said, I've got faith they can make the October 1 date - it looks all but done. If they were touching up murals a week or two ago, then we're basically there.

Also... Eggs Benedict on top of chorizo and fried plantains!? Hot-damn!

Seriously, though, I really appreciate the Chipotle-ification of some of the QS at WDW. The customization - particularly at the resorts where the time and crowds don't crush as hard - is a small but welcomed nod to customer needs and desires.

The food looks great! But the rendering looks as special as a hospital cafeteria. Who is designing at Disney? This is no way a Imagineering rendering - more third party, run of the mill design.

Where on Facebook? Anyone have any pics or vid? I've been predicting an October 1st re-opening, due to the anniversary tie-ins for the CBR (30th) and WDW (47th), and the last video I've seen is 2+ weeks old, and a LOT can get done in 2 weeks.
