Captain Jacks Outcome (Warning: contains spoilers!)
Warning, the following contains some spoilers!
I just read the book for Dead Man's Chest and I thought that it was very good! But the ending was depressing!
It has Davey Jones' creature (the Kracken) taking down the Black Pearl. All of the pirates (including jack, elizabeth, and will) about to leave the ship. Then, Elizabeth kisses jack but while doing that, she ties him to the ship.
Then the book says that the Kracken takes down the Black Pearl with Jack on it! It never says that he dies but I am not sure how he can get out of it!
