--The animation on the Zanzibar Trading Company sign is working (honestly, I didn't even know that it even had animation!). It's the shop closest to the spitting camel in Adventureland. The sign has a little group of sailboats on it, and now they sail around in a circle. Neat.

 they what?????? I need to see a picture of that!!

--The Main Street Cinema now has a version of Art on Demand. It's not printed out immediately, but is instead shipped to your home address within 2-3 weeks. There are also some additions to the catalog, including a copy of the 1971 WDW property map that used to hang in the Magic Kingdom resorts.

Wow looks like I am going to be buying one of those!

--I swear that there are a few new lighting effects during Mickey's Phillharmagic, though it could have just been a product of having a nearly-empty theater, as I saw it towards the end of the night. Lumiere's flames were enhanced by in-theater lighting, and I think there were lots more vortex gobos going on during the first and last scenes than I remember. New or not, they're neat effects.

Those have been around since day one, but it is hard to tell when all the seats are full. I love seeing those lighting effects, just the added little touchs that make it the Disney we all know and love!.

I have full size prints of Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean. I plan on purchasing Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Thunder Mountain. I don't believe Space Mountain or Buzz Lightyear have posters.

Didn't even know that BTMRR went thru rehab, must have been sleeping on the list. Will have to check out in December.

Thanks for the report.

They fixed all the broken effects like the avalanche at the end. I just hope they can continually maintain it like they do at the other disney resorts.

Big Thunder and Haunted Mansion are now the 2 best rides at Magic Kingdom mainly because they have been refurbed and restored to their original glory.

BTM went down Sep 30th - we arrived the 29th and rode it to death :D

I can`t wait to see the improvements. I guess we`ll never see the Tumbleweed flash flood again but the other effects will make up for it. This and SSE will be my highlights of our trip.

Aside from the rest of WDW of course

I didn't know the Zanzibar Trading Company sign had animation either. I remember the old VMK In-Park Quests that had a question about how many ships saild around, but it was quickly discontinued. Probably because this effect wasn't working.

Wow. I got to check out Big Thunder Mountain next time I go. Thanks for the info. :)

The "Tomb Sweet Tomb" needlepoint...not so much. I can't remember the price, but my jaw hit the floor when I saw it. Not cheap, that's for sure. I'll have to save up for that one.

Yeah...it's like $1200 or something ridiculous like that. FAR too much for needlepoint

That is absolutely fantastic. I assume this means things like attraction posters. Does anyone have a price estimate for any of these items?

We just came back last night. The attraction posters for I believe a 32x42 or something close to that was around $55. It didn't say if shipping was included.

The smallest size for the Art on Demand attraction posters (I want to say 16X20, but don't quote me on it) was about $22, not sure about whether or not shipping is included. I went back and checked, and the Tomb Sweet Tomb was $1250. Ouch.
