A duller decade there never was! The definition of the word "is" was the highlight.

They were certainly better than the 00s.

Yeah, a bunch of kids pretending to be jaded, calling everything "lame" and saying "Whatever!" a lot. Listening to music with lyrics like "I'm all out of faith, this is how I feel, I'm cold and I am shamed, lying naked on the floor..."

Ugh. Give me some Wham! any old time.

I don't know about all that, but what I do know is one of the best animated movies of all time premiering in theaters and watching it, the lion king, repeatedly at home when it finally came out on vhs. Going to see Toy Story in theaters and finally getting it home on vhs to watch it a million times. Having the luxury of video games, but still going outside to ride bikes, and actually play with toys, things kids of today barely seem to do. Nickelodeon...enough said right there. The 90s, best time to be a kid.
