News Capital Expenditures at Disney's domestic theme parks to be cut by 700 million dollars

Interesting that the Reedy Creek restructuring was going to cost Disney 700 million in debt and now they are cutting that same amount from expenditures.

If things don’t fall through, there will be big projects opening in WDW during the 2025-2030 interval.
Nothing thats not a re-theme, that comes to my mind. Disney "Original Projects" etc, are not the only problem. Its the State of WDW mostly in my mind that stands out. Lots of things look rough or just plain bad. Lots of reports here and elsewhere about poor maintenance etc and I can say we noticed it pre pandemic and our one trip post pandemic. Its why we are not going this year, that and the money gouging we felt was being pushed on us. I almost want this Peltz guy on the board but he scares me as some Corporate Raider who will just want to sell off parts of Disney.
