Cape May breakfast if not staying at Beach Club

About a year ago we stayed at the Beach Club and I had my favorite breakfast I ever had at WDW. Cape May was so good and I wished I would have discovered it earlier in my stay so I could have ate there more than once. This year I would love to eat there again but will be staying at Pop Century. How can I get to Cape May for an early breakfast (8:00 or so) when Epcot doesn't open until 9 and World Showcase doesn't open until 11? Was going to make a reservation but better wait until I know how to get there. How can I make this work?

I'd like to know this too. . . I've not been to Cape May before, and have never done a character breakfast at all. My DD3 will want to see Donald and Minnie, and I've heard that this particular character breakfast is not intensely loud and overwhelming.

I too have an early ADR, and I'm staying at WL. How to get there?

Buses will start running well before the parks open. Taking a bus to Hollywood Studios and walking to the Beach Club would probably be your best bet if you want to use Disney's transportation. Paying for a cab ride would be the quickest way, though.

The breakfast at Cape May is pretty quiet and feels like a smaller setting. Donald, Goofy, and Minnie were there wearing their beach outfits. It is nice and the food is great too!

Thank you! Great idea about walking over to Beach Club from DHS. I think this is the way I'll go. Nice way to start the morning with a quiet walk and then a delicious breakfast.

In our experiences, if you tell the bus drivers that you're trying to make an early morning character meal at Cape May/BC they will likely take you directly to the hotel. This is a big part of why the buses are up and running around 6:30a. We've done this several times with other character meals and have never had a problem.

Last year we took a bus to Hollywood Studios and then took the boat to the Beach Club, you can see the boat dock to the right of the entrance to HS. However this year we took a taxi to the Yacht Club when we had dinner reservations and it was much easier and cost us less then 20.00 from AOA.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. It is so nice to know what a helpful group my WDWMagic friends are. I will now be able to make my reservations knowing I have so many options. Not sure which one I will do right now but am glad to know it isn't impossible to get to Cape May for breakfast.
