Hi. I have a few questions about the Candlelight Processional.

How do you go about getting good seating for this?
Do I need a PS?
Is this once per night?

Thanks for the help, and if you have any more info please tell.

my dad and I got hotdogs and dinner and brought it back to the line where we sat on benches and ate. (We asked the CMs on duty--we were allowed to leave the line, hold places, and get right back in line.) So everything worked out really good.

We did that once too and it worked out really well. My mom and I got chicken strips from the quick service place in America and took it back to the line. That way the time seemed to pass faster, because we were eating instead of just standing there.

Yes to the above post!

And the "line" that you are in is not like one of those claustrophobic maze queues that has room for only single file. It's more of like a blob, and they don't squeeze you together until the last moment so you can spread out and enjoy your dinner!!

Just putting my 2 cents in - all of the information provided is correct and the dinner pkg vs waiting in the stand-by line is a matter of choice. Here's my experience:
The first year we saw this, in 2000, it was standing room only, but still great. The following year, we got in line about 30 min early and got great seats. I'm not sure what the difference was since we went the same dates both years and had the same narrator (Phylicia Rashad!).
Last year, our last day at WDW was the day after Thanksgiving so since this was the first day of the CP, I bought the dinner package. We ate at the Biergarten 'cos it was closer to the theatre and we had never eaten there before. It's a good thing we had the pkg 'cos it was jammed to the gills in the American Gardens Theatre. Andy Garcia was the narrator in 2003 and also did a good job, but Phylicia Rashad is my favorite. We also bought the CD, which features her :xmas:

Last Christmas, we saw Ben Vereen and he was phenomenal. Also since we had the Silver Package, we used our Wishes to have dinner at Alfredo's in Italy and have the Candlelight Dinner Package paid for that way. It worked out wonderfully.

Yup, we had plenty of personal space. And where we were stopped was right by a bench so we also had a place to sit.

That was a great night. It was the first time I'd seen my parents in a few months (since my grandmother had passed away). They were there to take me home from my college program, so it was also kinda sad because I was gonna have to leave my "home" soon.
