I am wondering if any of the comments she made on "The View" last year after her performance had anything to do with it? She hammered on overweight people at WDW riding around on scooters, beeping their horns and telling people to move out of the way and continued to say they should get up and walk instead of riding around on these scooters and eating snacks all day. She took quite a bit of heat from the other cohosts on the show.

NPH starts the last night we're there. We booked a dinner package so we're guaranteed seats since we really want to see him and don't want to miss our chance at CP since we'd be waiting until our very last night to see him! So excited!!

You may already be aware of this, but you are not guaranteed a seat. You will have first access to the seating. Once all of the dinner package guests that are lined up for that performance are let in, all of the remaining seating is filled with stand-by guests. If you arrive after the stand-by are let in, you may not have a seat.

Make sure you are there at least 1/2 hour before your performance is scheduled to start. Don't expect to show up 5 - 10 minutes before the show and have a seat waiting. I have seen a guy yelling at CM's after the performance has started because he paid for the Candelight Dinner Package and there are no seats left for him and his family. He was late because they had to use their FP's for TT.

We saw NPH last year and he did a good job. So enjoy the performance.

My favorite so far is Rita Moreno. I hope she comes back at some point.

Agree with you PhilharMagician,

I had Rita Moreno in 2009 and she was truly Great! Very well done and very moving.
Would love to have her again sometime. She was Fantastic.

As far as Maureen McGovren, she had to interject her political correctness into the script at 1 point. This type of event is not the place for that. If you want your views etc known about certain things there are times, places and events you can make them known.

The CLP is NOT 1 of them. Was not happy with her.

You've mentioned this twice but don't expand on what she said...what did she say?

First: Let me say that I have always and will continue to do so, support the rights for women to be paid according to their experience and talent. Women should get equal pay for equal work. Pay should be based on experience and talent and NOT on gender.

I am sure many of you will flame me because you feel I am being to pickey etc. But I saw several, not just a few but several people leave right after this little injection. Some I am sure because they wanted to leave early etc. But bet you not all of them.

Here is the script as I understand it to read.

All the Armies that ever marched,
All the Navies that ever sailed,
All the Parliments that ever sat,
All the Kings that ever reigned,
Put together, have not affected the life of Man on this Earth.
So much as that 1 solitary life!

Here is where she injected her thoughts.

All the same until....
Put together, have not affected the lives of MEN and WOMEN on this Earth.
So much as that 1 solitary life!

The bold part is the injection.

OK, flame me. But do not feel this was the venue, time or event to do this.

OK, flame away. But IMHO was not the right place for this.

Wow, kind of an overreaction on your part. I doubt anyone was stomping out after that, the altered line probably went unnoticed by most. You're acting like she stood on stage and burned her bra in support of women's rights.

When you kept mentioning political correctness I figured it was something about religion, which I could see people getting up in arms about.

Pioneering the Universe Within!
I highly doubt anyone left after she added another noun. In fact, as Tigger1988 said, I imagine about 99% of the audience had no idea there was even a change.

Incidentally, Jim Cavaziel "ad-libbed" quite a bit more extensively when he narrated:

It's at 1:25 where he wanders way off the reservation, much more egregiously than Ms. McGovern. He turns the event into a plug for his movie.

All I can tell you is what I saw. Just as soon as she said the statement several small groups got up and left. Some went back to control booth area and were talking to CM's and the other people in the booth. When I did leave after the show was over and walked by the booth I did overhear some of the conversation, and it was not appreciated by the group of people that was talking to CM's that handled the show.

Did most people not even hear it, ignore it or didn't care; mostly likely yes.

Maureen has not been back since either I believe. Just indicating that I myself did not like it.

Not trying to get people to agree with me or anything. This is just my opinion.

Would love to get Rita Moreno again. She was truly Fantastic!
