Can you stay on the TTA if nobody is waiting when your ride ends?

THis is one of my favorite rides.. and it seems just when im getting comfy and relaxed its over lol.. but most times nobody is waiting to get into our car when the rides over. Is there anyway to stay on if nobody is waiting or would it be considered rude to ask the cm?

I think it depends on the CM. I've heard of people doing this a lot, but the one time I tried, the guy told me I needed to get out.

They've let me stay on the TTA for multiple rides. Also, I got to ride Splash Mountain 4 times in a row without getting up too (very slow extra magic hours) :)

This is by far the easiest ride to stay on and go around over and over as when you debark one of the CM's is right there -- they have never asked me to get off and not permit to go around again, even on busier days. Just tell the CM you would like to stay on and go around again when your vehicle doors open -

DS and Nephew were both just about asleep when we were ending. We pointed to the boys when we saw the CM and he smiled and nodded. I'm sure they get it all the time because he knew what we were saying with out any of us saying a word.

its very common for our guest to request to stay on. Really the only time we ask everyone to exit is when there is a real line to get on.

Yes you can stay on. Just make sure you ask early, like right when the door open if possible just in case you can't stay on and have to jump out. The only time I did not let people stay in was when there was a line.

Which brings to mind a question I have always wondered. Do those sliding doors have a sensor on them so if you get out at the wrong time they don't squish your person?

Quite a few times last summer trip, my mom and aunt did this, so Im guessing its ok. Me and my dad, one late and tiring emh, didnt even ask, but the cm came and asked us if we wanted to stay on, inwhich we both nodded yes and got to do so.

Oh yeah, you can stay on. I've seen people stay on even when there was a short line.

If the Mansion is slow and you ask REALLY nicely the CM might let you stay on, too.

I've had the doors close on me. Until they're all the way closed, there's almost no pressure at all, so it's just like someone is lightly squeezing your arm.

I can definitely attest to being able to stay on the TTA for multiple rides. In fact, I was a part of a group of people that took it to the extreme level a few years back, and rode it non-stop for an entire day. It was a weekday in early December. Those in the group that went there right after park opening rode it for a total of 50 round-trips. (They could have done one more just before park closing, but they decided to stop at a nice, even number and get out of the park before the fireworks could finish).

In actuality, my friend and I were late getting there, and we took a couple breaks during the day. We originally thought we'd hop on for a couple trips, get off and do other things in the park, maybe stop in for another loop or two later in the day. But after the first couple loops, we had so much fun we decided to stay on. I think my total was around 38 loops, and my friend Brian had a couple more than I did.

Throughout the day, various people that knew what was going on stopped by for a ride. They knew what train number we were in (and after an hour or two, all the CMs knew the train number as well, so if someone asked, they'd know which one). Getting off for food or a restroom break and then meeting back up with Train 25 was easy, actually. Thanks to the TTA ride system, the loop was always the same length (except the single ride-stop we had during the day). So if you got off, you knew you had 10 1/2 minutes (or was it 11 1/2?) or a multiple of that length to get back to the platform to meet up with the train. At the end of the day, the CMs presented Magical Moments certificates to those who had been there all day.

It was actually a LOT more fun than I thought. We sort of developed our own "Rocky Horror Show"-type callbacks at the recorded spiels. One of which was singing "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" as we rode past Carousel of Progress. And coincidentally, there were a bunch of radio DJ tents set up outside CoP. You have to wonder what they thought of a train full of singing Guests cruising past them every ten minutes was all about... :D
