Can you stay on the TTA if nobody is waiting when your ride ends?

I'm glad to hear TTA will allow you to stay on as I am travelling with my 11mth old daughter this year and was relying on this as a break (along with many others after reading these replies)

I seem to remember doin it on potc before and def on el rio del tiempo

When our son was about that age, we used to ride it for his naps. CoP is another good napping place for little ones as well as the American Adventure. Have a fun trip!

Stay-on repeat rides aren't allowed (or possible) on PotC in the Magic Kingdom.

Perhaps you were thinking of Small World? Or perhaps Pirates in Disneyland? Pirates in Disneyland loads and unloads at the same point, so if there's no line I'm sure they'd allow you to go around again. But on Pirates in Florida, after unload the boats go through a backstage area and lift hill before returning empty to the load platform. (They also go through a VERY low archway when coming out at the load platform... You'd have to be laying flat in the boat to make it through)

Thinking about it I think you're right.... it could have been potc DL but then again i'm really not sure ... definately done it on another ride that's loaded in the same way as Small World (but i couldn't subject myself to 2 x rides of that straight away...!!)

We've done repeats on the TTA. Great for the little ones to nap and nurse. We've also done repeats on El Rio del Tiempo - because our children LOVED it. I'm not kidding.

Not to worry. The archway at the unload platform is tall enough for a person to go through. There's just a heavy flap of some sort hanging down to the level of the top of the boats. It's some sort of vinyl or plastic. It wouldn't injure you if you went into it. I also wouldn't be surprised if there's a sensor attached to that flap so that if something in the boat pushed it out of the way (like a person sitting in the boat), it would E-stop the ride.

I know my dad rode it for at least an hour straight when my little brother was just a few months old. It was the perfect way to get him asleep, and I think its commonly used for that purpose by parents.

LOL

This reminds me of the time when we were about to ride the Haunted Mansion. We passed through the stretch rooms and into the queue area. As we were about to step on the conveyor belt to get into our Doom Buggies, we saw 2 teenagers coming around from the unload area! They must have exited from their Doom Buggy at the end of the ride, then jumped back on when the CM wasn't looking! They got away with it too, because the CM at the load area did not notice as they passed by her from the backstage area!

I'm suprised that it doesn't happen more often..

That's actually standard procedure. Guests with disabilities (wheel chairs, crutches, etc) are loaded into the vehicle at unload since it's less crowded and there's more room for the chair. Also, if crowds are really light the CMs have been known to let people just keep on riding if they want to.
