The Coffee there isnt "that" bad. Its not the best but its coffee. When you have lack of sleep because of being so tired from the day before and you need a cup of coffee the coffee at the food court is fine. Now if your looking to prop your feet up in the afternoon and relax with a cup of fancy coffee your going to be disappointed. Its not that kind of coffee joint.

How much are the refillable mugs? I bought some a few years ago but cant remember.

It is "that" bad.

Really

If there is one complaint I have about WDW, it is far and away the coffee.

I will eat and drink just about anything that is put in front of me, but that coffee is just bad. I would be perfectly happy with run of the mill ground coffee, but they don't even go that route. What they serve there is Nescafe concentrated coffee. It is a concentrated coffee liquid that comes in a bag-in-box. When you get a cup of coffee the concentrated liquid is mixed with hot water at the point of dispensing. It has a lovely shelf stable life of 365 days.

I like coffee. I drink a lot of coffee. Some very good (at home) and some not as good but still decent (coffee shops, work, diners, etc). WDW is hands down the worst coffee I have ever had. Maybe it's because it is so out of place with the level of service they supply (Supplied ? :) ) that is stands out so much to me, but it really is a point that they fall very short on.

No one goes to Disney for the coffee anyhow. Pretty sure if Disney felt the level of coffee service was hurting their attendance they would consider a new brand of coffee.

Here's a little trick for those of you that must drink real "coffee" like my hubby. We went twice last year....once in March & then again in september. When my hubby drank their Nescafe for the first time...needless to say he was so no impressed with it (who is?!) So for the 2nd trip I suggested we buy a little bottle of instant coffee and all you need is hot water and cream and sugar which they have. This way you get your real coffee fix for the length of your stay.

the coffee in your rooms is free too...and its real. And you don't need to buy a refillable mug for it.

I don't see a problem here.

Ditto. I would give pretty much anything to get real coffee in WDW. The times that I go to WDW and rent a car, a stop at Dunkin Donuts is an absolute must for me before I set foot in the parks each morning.

If you're like me and all you drink is pretty much coffee all day, you could just get the starbucks via's and splenda, then all you need is a bottle of water any temp, and you're good to go :)

Very true. I don't mind the Via stuff. Maybe I will experiment with that on my next trip. A refillable mug + hot water + Via = potentially tolerable coffee in WDW
