Okay, I've seen this seller sell these things on eBay for a while now and I wonder how they can have so many of them. It just doesn't make sense to me.
This seller is selling spoons and forks claiming that they are "HAUNTED MANSION 100% authentic attraction prop". I've been trying to authenticate this some way because if it's true, I'd love to have one, but I just can't see how it can be true. Seems too good to be true, and the seller has sold several of these on eBay. Unfortunately the seller makes their auctions private, so you can't go back and see how many of these exact items they've sold, but I've seen them list quite a few of these.
Anyhow, I wanted to see if anyone else might have some info or know a way that I might be able to verify their claim. They don't offer any verification other than their story, and the claim that they were "told that these weathered utensils were sitting on the birthday scene table for approximately 6 years". Seems pretty wishy washy to me. I mean, I could find an old silverware set, tarnish them up and make the same claims.
Any ideas if these can be real?
