Can I Use Two Credit Cards on Room Charge?

Just curious..... Can anyone tell me if you can use two credit cards to pay for one reservation? We are travelling with another couple in April, and we are using our AP discount for both rooms, but want them to pay for their room on arrival. Can you do that on a reservation for two rooms? Split the charges out?

Thanks!

Yes, you should be able to. I would call Disney and ask to be certain.

In a similar situation, I stayed at Caribbean Beach and the Polynesian this past October using a friend's cast member discount. We split the bill at both resorts and each paid using our respective cards.

The easiest way to do this is to call and book 2 separate reservations that are linked as a "Travel With". The caller needs the full name and addresses of everyone staying in the rooms. The resort will see this link and pre-assign rooms as close together as they can.

A Passholder can discount up to 3 rooms with their annual pass as long as:

The passholder is staying in one of the rooms
The travel dates on all the rooms overlap
The rooms are all at the same Resort
The passholder needs to be the first to check-in and be present when the other parties check-in

This way each room has its own total bill and room charge from the beginning.

Or the reservation can be split when you arrive if there is more than 1 room.

If there is only one room, you can charge everything back to the room and then decide how much each person owes. There really isn't a way to automatically split the charges between 2 cards if there is only one room.

When I went in 2003 with two of my friends, they split it three ways for us. We didn't even ask them to do it (I can imagine....it's probably a pain), they actually asked us if we wanted it split.

So it shouldn't be a problem

They are soooo flexible with the credit cards!

One time we actually checked out and were in the airport when we realized that we used our debit card rather then our credit card when we were checking out!!! We flipped because that was going to drain most of our checking account! My boyfriend called from the airport and asked them to put it on our credit card and they did it no problem! I was surprised because they helped us after the fact... (thank goodness)
