Can Beastly Kingdom Happen Today?

Beastly Kingdom is not "Disney," it does not support an established franchise.

But now there's the 2015 corporate DISNEY® approved version coming in 2023! Featuring:

- Maleficent meet 'n greet (live action)
- Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland maze (copied from Shanghai)
- Relocated Frozen Sing-Along

+ a 500 seat cafetorium themed to Guardians of the Galaxy, and another Bibbiddi Bobbidi Boutique.

Definately a major improvement over the original concept.

I don't think that's a good change to the original idea

So, Disney has been rather public in their current position that theme park additions [that they pay for and control] are built around established franchises.
What if they do both. Fantasia ride, dragon coaster, spinner, labyrinth with some tie ins of Maleficent, Hercules etc.

I would have loved to have seen Beastly Kingdom built, but I'm afraid its not going to happen. I'ts so far in the past that there probably isnt even a hint of possibility it will be considered. The direction they are moving in seems that if anything they will be probably be developing next on to some type of a Marvel/ superhero site. Lots more money to be made and lots of interest driving numbers from kids and adults.

Not for Animal Kingdom though

No I'm not saying it would be in AK, just that if they put more substantial money into a project it will be a Marvel/superhero land somewhere else.

$4 billion for EPCOT
I'm of the opinion that Pandora is the last Expansion you'll see. Maybe new attractions hear or there but we're not getting another land gosh for at least the next decade if not ever. I would like an Australia area and it could be a small land.

I agree I think we might see a new attraction in Africa or Asia or a re-do of Dinoland soon but it will be 10 years until we get an expansion on the scale of Pandora or NewFantasyland. But in the meantime Star Wars Land will open and there are rumours of expansions at MK too. Epcot is the only park that isn't really seeing an whole land expansion in the pipeline

Guardians is the only thing that they can use that anyone will want to see so, id imagine that is impossible.

Big Hero 6? And if they would make it a superhero land, Incredibles.
I hear ya. I just dont see BH6 having the staying power that the MCU is producing but id love to see what they could do... It wont be for 15 years at the earliest but it would be cool.

I think Black Panther would fit in quite well in DAK.

Maybe, but just imagine a ride like Spiderman or like Harry Potter based on Big Hero 6 and I mean Baymax has a place in many people's hearts. Im sure people will ride an amazing ride eventhough the movie wasnt maybe too memorable.
