Hello and happy holiday,
We are originally from Poland and move to states nine years ago. Has been family tradition to watch the live broadcast of your Christmas day parade on television and has always been a dream to attend in person. For this year we have make that dream come true. Have drove all night from Jersey to Florida and have just enter Orlando area. Our two teens love the band Pentatonix and are very excited to attend the Christmas day parade today. We know it will not start until ten this morning early, but wanted to know how early we can arrive at parque gate. It is almost five in the morning and our GPS say we should be at Magic kingdom parque in less than twelve minute. Can we go ahead and arrive to assure we buy tickets early and get spot for parade? This is surprise for our children though they almost certain where we going as we drove all night. Thank you and Christmas blessing very much. See you soon.

I suspect that you've already discovered that you can't enter the park until official opening. And you have most likely discovered that you cannot purchase a ticket at the gate, and must have an existing reservation to enter the park.

I'm so sorry that you didn't check on the restrictions and rules that have been introduced due to Covid prior to your making the trip.

The parade you see on TV was recorded weeks ago, you will not see it today even if you could get into the park, although there will be the normal Christmas parade in the park today.

One of the funnest days we’ve had at Magic Kingdom was when we went there on the day they were filming the parade. We had limited time in the park that day because we were flying out later on that day so we decided we would go check it out. Main Street was packed but all the rides had low wait times. It was also when the Year of a Million Dreams was going on and we got the dream fastpasses.

I can’t imagine this is real. Maybe I’m pessimistic though.
Has all the makings of another post meant to get negative Disney comments going. These poor unsuspecting forigners show up and are locked out of Disney. Talk about how Chapek is the 2021 Grinch. The new policies ruined a families Christmas. ( Although the OP should have made the kids 5 & 7 yo which would have pulled at our emotions more) It just shows how different it once was when anyone could show up and gain entrance without any prior preparations. Surely this would never would have happened had anyone else been running Disney. I suspect Walt would have opened up the gates and given them a free pass.
Maybe Pentatonix will read about this and invite the family to an in person concert. There will be petitions set up for Chapek to give the family a golden lifetime pass. Or a go fund me page set up to pay for their drive back home.
Of course this families painful experience should be top news for all the major networks along with AOL headlines.

In my opinion it’s far more likely that Bob Chapek’s heart will grow three sizes today than that this a legit post.

Anybody know where Diagon Alley is? I've been wandering around Fantasyland. It's not behind the Train Station like I thought it was. Somebody said it's kinda hidden behind some London looking buildings. I'm thinking EPCOT.
This is true. Although I do have to say that I was disappointed in the theming of Hogwarts Express. I was expecting it to look like the train from the movies but it really looked like gondolas you would find at a ski resort. I did ride it to Universal Studios and got to ride the Star Wars rides!

Tell you the truth, I didn't no you can't buy a ticket at the gate and I have been going to Disney World for years. I can't just show up and buy a ticket? Haven't been to the park since co-vid. I'm an AP at Universal now any ways, won't be back to Disney until the next economic collaspe (coming up soon) and prices plumet along with crowds.

I really didn't know the parade was filmed way a head of time. I thought Holiday parades were actually the day of........... now I know.

Since covid and the use of reservation system, you still need a reservation even with a valid ticket. Certain days especially during the holidays have been booked weeks in advance.
