Hello and thank you again hope everyone had a blessed and safe Christmas.
Sorry to say this was all very real and we discover the planning was poor for the trip. However still a fun time we had as we visit the other popular Orlando theme parque day of Christmas and had wonderful time!! Will know better for future planning and hopefully see Christmas day parade taping if planned better. Thank you again for advice. We are originally from Poland.
As I say we had a fun filled day at the other Orlando parque until closing. After we left Gatorland we head to restaurant and spend Sunday shopping and at hotel. Now we heading back north early to get start as the New Year week approach. We hope to be back down to Disney in early of March to hopefully get view of first launching of the Star Wars spaceship hotel. Again merry Chritmas to all and your family.

The Starcruiser is entirely booked for the first few weeks of March, and there won't be anything to see unless you are staying there.

Should be a good week to go, I would expect the crowd levels to be low with spring break week and opening of Star Wars spaceship hotel. There would probably be no need to make advanced park, resort or dining reservations.

Please note that the Star cruiser is not an actually spaceship and there won’t be any launching.

No need to make advanced park reservations or resort reservations?! Sorry, but that isn't very helpful advice. Sure the first week of March is slower than the holiday season but Spring Breaks do start in early March. Plus park reservations are needed to enter the park anyway, so making them in advance (as soon as you know your travel date) is just smart. As is making a resort reservation, staying on or off property, again it is smart to make reservations as soon as you know your dates . Dining reservations though, unless there are specific places on the agenda that could probably wait or someone can "wing it" a little easier.

I think they were just joking with the OP, who seems pretty clearly to be running with the “Pollack joke” premise of the first post to see how far they can keep people on the hook. The story went from their great time and expense to attend one thing that clearly wasn’t going to happen (Christmas day trip w/out reservations), to saying, it’s okay, we will try doing the same thing without any pre planning for literally the next thing that is obviously totally booked up (with a chuckle about thinking it will “launch” for good measure).

Also, the reiteration that they are from Poland and the set up as having gone to the “other popular Orlando park” and having it not be Universal, or SeaWorld, but Gatorland (and somehow spending an entire day there!) are pretty major giveaways.
