Heyy guys, just wondering? will anything be going on at all in the parks "Camp ROck" related due to the new movie? I thought it was pretty good but it could have been worked on a lil harder? Thanks?!:sohappy::hammer:

Camp Rock was obviously set up to be a High School Musical filler. I guarantee you that you'll see a passing float down the streets of DHS sooner than later.

For a movie billed as "starring the Jonas Brothers" they weren't in it a whole lot.
But in answer to the original post, there is already some pins out in the parks.
I remember hearing about Disney possibly plannig more Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boutique options for the older teens themed after Hannah Montana, High School Musical, and Camp Rock, so that's an option.

I don't think it was that bad at all. The lead male is part of the Jonas Brothers and he was in it the entire movie. The other 2 members had lil' parts.
I don't think it ripped off School of Rock...not even close to the same premise...just because it was about rock?
I would have liked to have seen something happen with the snotty girl telling her mom off and then apoligizing to the girls.
Yes, I think they will prob have a mini float similar to HSM Pep Rally.

Okay, now I actually have to watch it LOL. I was recording it on DVD tomorrow night on ABC family (apparently there is some Jonas Bros special in the middle of it as well) for my niece, but now you people actually have me going to sit down and see it.

I thought the story line of camp rock definitely could of been better, but I love the songs . So my opinion is........bad story, good songs.

Why not do somethin with the cheetah girls. IMO, they and probably a few people off of this new movie actually are good at what they do unlike many of the people in HSM, the cheetah girls and that one girl on the new movie actually have talent. The Jonas Brothers are good, I have to give em their props, I may not be a fan of them or the style of music they sing, and I dont think they have any vocal ability but you dont really have to in order to sing that style, so they're good. I wouldnt buy their cd, but they are talented because they play the instruments and stuff. But HSM kids as well as Myley are nowhere near the level all the hype has em, to me, they really have no talent. So IMO, they oughta put some cheetah girls stuff up.

i think that because HSM 3 is coming so soon that there will not be a Camp Rock Float - DHS will just skip to HSM 3. I think that the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato will prove to be much more popular as artists than the movie itself. The "villain" actress was TERRIBLE, by the way - Paris Hilton is a better actress! No Sharpay whatsoever.

I am going to make this quick since I have to get to bed since I am actually going to see Demi Lovato ("Mitchie") from Camp Rock perform tomorrow. (I will let you know how she sounds live compared to in the movie) But Camp Rock in my opion is equal to HSM in music but under HSM in story. It will have a sequal & had a higher viewer rating then HSM so it should be in the park in some form.
My ideal situation would be in the hunchback theatre to have a "Disney Channel Rocks" show with music from HSM, Camp Rock, Cheetah Girls, Hannah Montana, ect. This would keep all he tween stuff in one show & yet have it be present in the parks. (think energy of Tarzan Rocks with Disney Channel music) The other option for Camp Rock is to have it take over half of the HSM: SO shows a day. (Around 2 shows of each per day)

It'll be interesting to see how the Wonderful World of Disney airing will do in the ratings. Anybody heard anything on the overnights from Friday? Or Nemo/Monsters on WWOD the past 2 weeks?
