Calling ALL the Spirits

I've searched and searched, through thread after thread, and get nothing. I don't want to waste anyone's time, I just want to know...

Is there even the slightest whisper, that an iteration of the Indiana Jones Adventure, is coming to Florida?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Nope never heard anything ever discussed about that besides rumors and doubt with all the other additions they are doing in the next so many years that it will happen. Never say never but highly doubt it. ;)

Aren't they making more IJ movies though? If that's true and they're a hit then maybe it could happen, right? I mean it would be more possible then than now...

I was hoping for an announcement of another Indy film at D23 and possibly a new attraction.... Must have missed the reports I guess. :cautious:

Those types of rumors, or wishful thinking, has been swirling since the Disney Internet message board concept was created in the late 1990's. It's now been over 20 years since Indiana Jones Adventure opened at Disneyland, and 14 years since it opened at Tokyo DisneySea, so I don't think it's going to happen.

WDI and TDO both seem to have moved on to other concepts. Like Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land.

"Let it go......." ;) Better chance of more Frozen stuff, sorry to say.

In the Parks
No
Given that Dinosaur is functionally the same ride, if they re-themed to Indy it's sort-of possible, but highly unlikely. They'd have to reconfigure that whole area of the park as well. No real RoE either.

At this point it seems highly unlikely (as others have said) and honestly, if we are wishing for park imports I think there are a few better options out there like Journey to the Center of the Earth (Tokyo DisneySea) or Crush's Coaster (Disneyland Paris)

Eddie's original mine train idea is still cool. And they actually built it! Except the bad guy AAs were replaced with bears. He got a kick out of that.

It's extremely unlikely. Among other reasons, I think Disney doesn't want to deal with the EMV ride system again right now. That was a major fascination of theirs in the 90s, but these days they tend to prefer simpler, more consistent ride technology.

That's not really a trend, though.
Radiator Springs Racers is fairly new, and uses the same frightfully complex and unreliable platform as Test Track.

There would probably be more examples except that Disney doesn't really build anything these days.

Just imagine Indy as a blood thirsty Carnotauraus and also as a big Boulder at the end..Problem Solved...

Yep its been a recurring point on the rumor mill for years and years. Yet it never happens. I think the chances of it being done now are very slim.

Well first Lucasfilm needs to decide how they want to revive the franchise and after it proves successful again they will once again be looking at concepts for the parks
