Hey, not even hurricanes prevent you from keeping up to date! I'm impressed!

Yeah, I'm voting for him... For the past 10 years we've been voting for the well-dressed, well-spoken, "college" people, and it's been the same crap. Here at my house, we've got the whole "it can't get any worse" philosophy going on, and I think most of the country is thinking the same. He's supposed to be opposition, and they've never been to presidency, so we might as well give them a shot. He's probably gonna win too, and without the need of "segundo turno" (don't know how to say it in English...) There's a debate tonight, around 10 PM, which supposedly will set all the votes, so we'll see. The last one was open warfare, and pretty funny too! :D

He is on the newspaper every single day here! I am sure he will win... it wil happen the same as here: the opposition will finally win a presidential election! And the candidate who won (Fox), had the image of a "cowboy" or a guy from the ranches. But this one is not poor at all. He owns a leather boots factory (and he only wears boots made in his factory), and is a successful entrepeneur who owns a lot of land too. But he won.... he dressed like a cowboy, rode horses, and talked like the masses. :rolleyes: I personally thought it was more of a good marketing campaign than anything else, but it´s still too soon to speak...:animwink:

I bet the debate is gonna be interesting tonight!

We are "grounded" here... no TV for now! Cable was damaged with the hurricane and it will take a while to get it back... :(

Don´t worry! I´m lucky I have everything now, but I do miss the tv even when at this moment it sounds very selfish for me to say something like this. :animwink:
