I cannot drink anything with caffeine, and drink lots of caffeine free diet coke. Does anyone know if this is available in any Disney restaurants? I know we can buy it in the supermarkets otherwise.

It has been available as far as I remember. I drink it too and have been able to get it in the resorts, restaurants and even the cart vendors at the parks.
I travel with my own decaf tea bags though because those are hard to come by. I have bought sugar free de caf drink sticks to mix into bottles of water for Iced Tea.

Fresca (grapefruit flavoured soda, a Coke product) is caffeine free and is available in the soda fountain at the AKL's food court. If you've never had it, give it a try. I promise that grapefruit soda isn't as disgusting as it sounds. It's quite yummy, actually.

I love Fresca! Fresca now comes in different flavors (seems they made it into a "brand" not just a flavor anymore. Sprite also has no caffiene and is available. Gingerales have no caffiene and are usually available too.

I somehow knew you'd be a Fresca fan. I've been drinking it my entire life. I'm glad that it's so popular now because it isn't hard to find anymore. I haven't tried the peach or black cherry flavours and I doubt that I will. It's been a grapefruit soda from day one; how can they now decide that they want to have peach and black cherry too?!

I didn't know Sprite was caffeine free. Looks like my two favourite sodas have no caffeine.

Sprite has always been caffine free. But! Be careful, because while most root beers are caffine free, Barq's (Coke's rootbeer brand) HAS caffine in it. Things like the Minute Maid lemonaide will be caffine free as well.

My mom got me hooked on Fresca when I was a kid. I haven't tried the other flavors either because ...ewwwww. :lookaroun

All of Diet Rite's sodas are caffiene free (but not COKE products) and those flavors are very good.

thanks - I'll try this. Is it sugar free? I only really like diet coke, I don't drink sprite or fanta or anything else that is carbonated.

Mmmmm - I love this lemonade :slurp:

We can't get it in the UK. If you ask for lemonade here, you get sprite.

I also am not allowed to have ANY caffine, but last summer I found that MOST quick service and soda carts have caffine free Diet Coke. Just look for the brownish Diet Coke logo instead of the silver one. Make sure you are very specific about asking for CAFFINE FREE though because the cashier pushes a different button on the register to order a caffine free Diet Coke. I found several of them order me a regular Diet Coke instead of a caffine free. Just politely remind them that you have ordered a caffine free drink instead.

If worse comes to worse, there is always bottled water and the little flavored packets you can add to them if you dont want just plain water.

I vaguely remember some fountains dispensing Caffeine Free Diet Coke, but put me down for "better safe than sorry," I suggest bringing sugar-free powdered drink mix you can mix in water, just in case...

If you're drinking diet because you're counting calories, and not for an immediate health reason like diabetes, there's a really good chance that all the walking you do, plus the heat, will help burn off any excess sugar you take in. I ate & drank all sorts of decadent stuff at WDW, and my blood sugar rarely got into dangerous territory.

I found that my levels were better than normal even though I cheated on my carb counts.

I find that my blood pressure dips very low when I am in WDW. Last year I actually stopped taking one of my medications 2 days into the trip because I kept getting dizzy from it being too low.

MAybe the solution to my problems is to just move into WDW. :lookaroun

Its not just about calories, I drink diet coke because I like it a lot (is addicted too strong a word?!)

I don't like normal coke that's all - I find it too sugary and sweet.
