Cable in CP Apartments?

I can tell you firsthand that Vista Way is fully equipped; I'm sure the Commons and Chatham are as well, tho I did't spend much time at either place.

Vista Way got basic cable and a couple of "premium" channels (HBO or Showtime, I can't remember which) but we didn't get the Disney Channel!!

Heh...my memory of the whole thing is fading already...I had forgotten how few channels we got there, but you're right...but then, I never really took a lot of time to watch TV anyway, so it wasn't really an issue.

Didn't know that Chatham had been laid to rest...what was the reasoning behind that move, I wonder?

if I'm correct, it's currently being laid to rest, with its current group of residents being sent packing to Vista (they're not happy about this, I can assure you)...

I've heard 2 reasons..

1-Disney sold the complex to a developer to be used as retirement housing

2-Disney didn't actually own the apartments, and the contract ended

True! Something must be wrong if you have the time to watch too much tv while living at VW or The Commons! :animwink:

Great. I take it this is only in the living room though. I am bringing a tv, but thats just because I'm bringing my PS2 in case I get bored, plus it also gives me the option of watching DVD's anyone who has done the program think this is a good or bad idea?

It depends on how you are and what you like doing. Some people can´t be away from their tv/computer/you name it, and they bring it with them. Some others prefer to go out or do different things as what they do at home. A DVD player could be useful for a quiet movie night at the apt.
How long will your program last?

Also, you can buy a cable splitter if you really think you need cable in your room...my roommates and I never did it, but I would recommend just dragging along your TV, if you're planning on it...You'll probably have at least a few quiet nights where you just feel like watching movies or playing games.
