I've been trying to book a cabana since the minute I was able but I'm only a Silver member so they were already reserved by the time I was allowed. A CM said they have many cancellations right before the cruise begins and I was wondering if anyone had luck getting one last minute? I keep checking to see if any are available and they aren't as of yet! Or maybe once I get onboard?

It is just blind luck. I have heard of people getting them last minute, but 1500 people a year win a million or more in the lottery each year too.

Keep trying. Even if the chances are slim they're better if you try vs. zero when you don't try at all. Also, as soon as you board the ship go directly to Guest Services and ask to be added to the wait list. If anyone cancels during the cruise they'll refer to the wait list.

I actually just was able to book a cabana on the adult beach for our cruise in 4 weeks! So definitely keep trying!! I was shocked to find one available but snatched it up right away!!

Awesome! I need a family cabana for ours in 4 weeks, too. Are you on Fantasy leaving 2/1??

We are on the Dream leaving 2/2 so we will miss you by a day!!
On our October Fantasy trip, I watched every day for months to get in on a cancellation. My name was the first one on the wait list once we got on board, but we still never got one. As it turned out, we did just fine without it and saved a lot of money as a result.
It's not a big deal if we don't get one, I just thought it would be a nice splurge for the first-time cruisers we're going with. We will have 3, 4 & 5 year old girls so the closer the bathroom, the better!
Fun! We did Dream in March and loved it!
