Pretty much everything I've read says that I should do the racers first, but then what about after that? What do you think is the best strategy for CA? The only ride I don't see my kids liking is California Screamin (but I'd like to try it if there's a single rider line??)

Any advice is appreciated!!

California Screamin' definitely has a single rider line. The line generally doesn't get TOO bad, but you're going to be there during the 60th celebration so lines might be a little worse. You can always FastPass that one too.

Check out the differences in ToT and hopefully Soaring will be back on line too. Enjoy Bugs Land with your kids...I hear the "chew chew" is pretty cute according to @Endor Sightseer. Spend some time down on Paradise Pier just checking out the shops and going on whatever rides you like.

DLR in general is a laid back environment where you don't feel the need to rush here and there to get everything done in a day. So take the time to kick back and relax to take in Walt's park.:)

The Frozen meet and greet is FP only I believe and books up fast so that would be the priority if it is on the agenda. After RSR and Frozen I would go to Toy Story. The line is much shorter than DHS but can still get to 45 minutes by mid morning and there is no FP. After that I would say just enjoy the rest of your day and use FP where you can. Make sure you see Aladdin. It’s a wonderful show.

Something of note is that a lot of locals come to the parks after work so it can get more crowded in the evening compared to WDW. Friday nights in particular can be extremely packed, even when Friday morning is dead.

If your staying on property which means early admission I love to hit RSR first then grab breakfast at Flow's. Get a window seat that looks out at the main drag and wait for the front gate to drop and marvel at the huge herd of a crowd as it comes rushing down the street to RSR. Truly a site to behold. Also, I love Little Mermaid and the Alladin show. Cheers!

Great, I would have never thought about riding it. I love to stroll through A Bug's Land. The details are awesome. I love sitting on Popsicle stick benches under the cover over a clover leaf and watch the little ones splash in the Princess Dot's Puddle Park. Just 10 more days and I will be back in my happy place!

Heimlich's Chew Chew train is silly, infantile and less than a minute long. It is one of my favorite things in the park and if you skip it, i will never forgive you.

If you are going after May 22nd, crowds will be spectacular. Book a dining package to see WoC, subscribe to touringplans.com and make a good touring plan.
