Bye Bye, Lights Motors Action.

What does it cost to run LMA? I know tires alone wear fast and stuntmen are not cheap. I am sure operating costs were not used when looking for space for new attractions. ;)

We liked it too. Some people MUST have liked it because it was always crowded.
I loved it, but Im a total gearhead. I can understand how people who dont like cars, noise or awesome would be disappointed. Ha.

Seriously tho, the extreme dearth of family style dark rides is a massive problem at DHS, so the impending changes cant come soon enough.

Unfortunately, we have not heard about any family style dark rides yet going into DHS.... I too hope some find their way there in upcoming years.

Toy Story Land concept art proves that LMA is going to be demolished. How so?

Check the building circled in yellow.

What in this pictures proves that lights motor action is leaving? You circle something but it can be identified as anything in particular.

Recently, LSM has been filled with first-time visitors who have no prior knowledge about the show. That's why it's been crowded.

Seriously, how on earth do you know this? Even if you worked as a cm getting the audience in are you telling me you'd remember every audience member attending each performance?

"Hi Brad, good to see you again my man. I see you've left the little lady at home again along with the ankle biters"
"What do you mean your name is Louis and you're gay and single?"

"Anne, looking good my girl. Nice shoes, really got it going on there girl, how's Rob?"
"What do you mean your name's Lucy and your husband died last month?"

I've seen LMA 6 times now. I get that some people don't like it, but it likely has a pretty strong audience from the same crowd that is bored to tears at VotLM. I'll miss it when its gone. So different than anything you'd expect to find in a theme park

I really enjoy it too, though Mrs Merg just tolerates it for my benefit I believe. I actually believe that just like Indie it's actually an attraction that encompasses the original ideals of MGM Studios. It shows you how the movies are made to some degree and they certainly put a great deal of thought and effort into creating it. I'm not even a petrol head and never watch motor racing, however the show has always appealed to me and seemed good, fast paced fun.

I went in July and everything at MGM was packed.
Muppets, Mermaid, Indy, The Frozen Shows, the second performance of Fantasmic...
All of them were full to capacity and turning people away because because there weren't any more seats.
Guess that's what happens when you close half a park when all your parks are drawing record-breaking numbers.

I saw it once and would not bother again. I was pretty bored.

But you know somebody will be crying about it and saying Walt Disney's dream is dead and wearing T-shirts of it and starting threads about it for the next 20 years LOL.

of corse it was packed, it was July. The only busier time of the year is the Thanksgiving to new years time frame.

I will be very sad when it finally closes. It made me feel proud when I heard old audio recordings of Walt inside One Man's Dream and thinking about the origin behind Disneyland and the park's in general.

No, I was talking about Lights, Motors, Action. I love the One Man's Dream as well as the whole Animation area and will miss both of them. I hope they do something comparable somewhere.
