Buying tickets for Disney - out there or or in UK?

Hi we are travelling to disney in the next couple of months and I was wondering is it best to buy the tickets online before I go or to wait and get them once I am out there?

Many thanks in advance :)

There used to be an advance purchase discount, but they did away with that for 2008.

The only way you could save a few dollars now is to use a ticket broker like UndercoverTourist or Mapleleaftickets or others, but be sure to compare prices with tax and shipping included.

Some tickets may only be possible to be purchased in the UK, such as the special 21 day tickets, etc. so I would investigate that further.

Side walk vendors

Do you know if there any of the side walk brokers in Orlando still and if they give a good price?

I highly recommend that you stay away from side walk vendors! I use Undercover tourist-I just purchased 3 sets of tickets. The prices were excellent and the service very good. The price includes tax and mailing costs.:sohappy:

I strongly suggest waiting until you get to Florida before purchasing your tickets. The Orlando Welcome Center has huge sales and discounted tickets!

Their e-mail and number are posted below! Good luck with your vacation!

I've always wanted to get tickets from them but I've been scared that they would work. Has anyone had any problems with the The Orlando Welcome Center?

Check out Themeparkticketsdirect.com we used them last year and saved a lot compared to buying them from the travel agent. They do 7 day premium, or ultimate 14 day or 21 day tickets.

Check out the web - there are numerous UK sites selling 5,7,14 & 21 day UK passes and most are cheaper than Disneys UK site (by up to £10 per adult ticket)

First off, dont buy them out there if your planning on doing Disney for about 2 weeks. UK people have the special 14 and 21 day passes which include park hopper and unlimited access to the water parks and DQ for your stay. Which is miles better than any Magic Your Way ticket in the states.

Also where and how your get your tickets depends on how much you mind waiting for them after shelling out for them. Most sites out there are reptuable and do the tickets cheaper. I personally brought tickets at Disney Store just for my own piece of mind. £20 extra but at least I wont have to worry about them travelling though the postal system. (Plus sometimes that way you can pick what design ticket you get depending on how much stock the Disney stores got )

My employer offers corporate perks discount program. It's a discount program for purchasing just about anything at many retailers and on-line sources which includes theme park tix. The I priced out the tickets and they are good deal compared to purchasing tickets thru Disney. About a $60-70 savings.

There are plenty...you can then frame the tickets and put them on your wall at home. That's about all they will be good for. No one feels worse then CM's who have to turn people away at the gate because they have bogus tickets.

If you are a member of AAA motor club, they offer discounted tickets.

But I would definitely buy them ahead of time so you aren't wasting valuable vacation time waiting in line to buy your tickets.

The rest area right on the Florida/Georgia state line used to have coupons for tickets so I am assuming other rest areas would. Under no circumstances would I ever buy a scalper ticket. Don't buy a ticket unless it is from a reliable seller.
