Buy 4 nights, get 7 to return??

IMHO, if it does return, you will see significant blackout periods around Thanksgiving (probably November 25-29), Christmas (probably December 18-31), and at least some of the Pop Warner week (December 5-12)....

I think they will. It brought in a lot of newbies who could not afford a Disney vacation otherwise. It probally will not start until January (after the 4th) and bookings will begin in November. I will be on the lookout for Kingdom Konsultants - they have all the good info!!:king:

You know that you could save yourself a ton of time and aggravation by just booking with Kingdom Konsultants and letting us worry about that. We will automatically rebook you if and when a promotion comes out. All of this for the low low price of zero, nadda, nothing.

I do know that!:)

I am waiting for a variety of reasons. Saving money being a big one.
The thing is, if there's a deal, then we can probably go. If not, then
we probably won't. So, I am trying to put money away as best I can,
and watching the deals. When the two numbers get close, then I'll
jump on it. (The secret surprise is that my wife doesn't know that I've
been squirreling money away--I hope to surprise her with it, along with
the great deal)

So, I can't or won't book it until I know for sure.

Oh, also--our dates might shift by a day or two here or there, depends on the kids school--and so can't really commit chiefly because of the fact that airfare is non-refundable.

I should also say that clicking on MouseSavers and these boards every five minutes is a pleasurably obsessive fun Mickey activity!

I just hope they do. I am banking on the 4/3 deal for January 10-17th after my cruise. The $200 gift card would be nice too. If not, I will probally stil lgo to Disney - just staying in my timeshare and not on property. Although, the EMHs are the greatest incentive in the world.

The story referenced is suggesting that they will do it for fall travel....

Sounds good!

LOL, part of me was hoping you'd say, "well, you've got it all wrong,
you can book now, ya goof!" But it is nice to know that I'm strate-ger-izing
properly on this deal.

I have been saving since last November, and keeping it a secret from
the rest of the family is killin' me! So . . . . close . . . . .

I can hardly wait for the moment I can break the news--and I am anxiously
optimistic that it's going to happen!

Seeing articles like that one that I linked to makes my day!

What I always recommend is book what you can afford now. You never know what deals will come out if any and if you really want to travel during a certain time of the year you do not want to get the "there is no room at the inn" answer if you wait too long to book. If and when a deal comes out you can either upgrade the trip based on your budget or take the savings and run.

Master Yoda is wise, indeed.:)

Here's a question, all I need is a ballpark guesstimate that'll
help me a bit.

Assume a one week magic your way package, at Port Orleans Riverside.

If you're booked for seven days, what's a guess for each additional
day, if it gets extended to 8, or 9 days?

5 people, (2 adults, 3 kids 15, 12, 7yrs) in a room with trundle bed.

Is that enough info to wing a guess out there, or is it a big "depends . . . "?

Unfortunately, I have to give you the ever ambiguous "it depends" answer. A number of factors can effect the price. First of all it depends on the offer and what it will allow you to do. If it would allow you extend the same discounted rate to additional nights you might only be looking at around $100-$120 +/- per night. However, if it does not (which I don't believe it did) then you are looking at rack rates which can be around $180 +/- per night.....BUT..... there might be a room only offer that we could book you under for the latter part of your trip that could knock it back down to the $120 +/- range. This is why it pays to book with KK. We know how to work the system and how to maximize your savings.

Back when I was just a client of KK and not an agent I had a simple 3 night AP room only rate stay. I checked in on a Saturday and checked out on a Tuesday. My agent (Marie) noticed that there was an offer that had me getting a $100 gift card with a Sunday check in. She split my reservation into 2 different stays in the same resort. This equated to me going down to the front desk on Sunday checking out and checking back in and getting $100 for my 10 minutes of trouble. Not many TA's can pull off stuff like that.

Marie is AWESOME - but many Disney-specialist TA's do this everyday for their clients.

You could always cancel and receive a full refund. Just don't book the airfare or insurance. Once you know for sure you can add those items. The only issue is teh $200 down, but that is not payable for 6 months on a Disney card.

Good luck

I now have lots to ponder, hmmmm.

I'm going up into the woods fishing for a week. When I emerge next
week, I may need to act . . . . :)

Kingdom Konsultants is casting a spell on me . . . .

One additional Q about the buy 4, get 3 free.
I have been assuming that a deal like that would be announced
in July, does that sound about right?
My guess is, within the next 30 days, it's make or break.

Gadzooks, I wanna go so bad!
