Butterbeer in the HP films?

I'm watching the HP films this week for the 1st time. I've yet to see them drinking, or mention the drink, but according to what I've read, it was in 3, 4 and 5. Can anyone confirm this? I just finished watching 5. Given the hubbub over the drink (I love it myself), I would think it was mentioned more often in the films.

I just watched Order, Half-Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows Part 1 last week, and I remember at least two mentions/sightings of the drink.

In Order, specifically, Hermoine, Ron, and Harry go to the Three Broomsticks and have a glass while discussing forming a army.

I can only assume theres probably numerous mentions in the books themselves.

We just watched Order and I don't remember anyone saying anything about it. I'll have to skim through to that scene again tomorrow before watching Half-Blood Prince.

BTW, as a regular Joe watching the films, I'm rather enjoying them. Here's how I'd rank them so far: 4, 1, 3, 5, 2.

Half-Blood Prince is the one with Professor Slughorn, right? I'm pretty sure they order or are drinking Butterbeer in the scene where Ron, Harry, and Hermione "happen" to run into Slughorn at the Three Broomsticks.

I know they talk about it in the prisoner of azkaban but I dont beleive you see them drinking it. They mention it in the scene where Ron and Hermione come back from hogsmeade and they are telling Harry about the different things in the village.

Butterbeer and Pumpkin Juice are mentioned often in the books and occasionally in the films. Sometimes I think it's more inferred in the films and the readers of the books just know based on the stories.

I highly suggest the books though as they do help explain some storylines in the movies and of course all the extra features that never made it to the screen.

You hear about it more in the books than the movies. I also think that if you were to read the books your list might change a bit. 3 was probably my favorite book and I was so disappointed in the movie...they butchered it.

It definitely comes up more in the books! I remember the scene in Half-Blood Prince in the Three Broomsticks where Ron, Hermoine, and Harry drink Butterbeer.

I've watched the movies many times (got the Blu-Ray set for Christmas) and decided it was finally time to sit down and start reading the books (never had the chance).

On Sunday night I began and am now halfway through number 4

As far as the ranking of movies is concerned, I'd probably rate them 4, 8, 2, 6, 5, 1, 3, 7. But it's hard to rank really. Deathly Hallows part 1 is great in the beginning with the transport of Harry to the Burrows and the wedding. But other than that, meh

I agree with DisneyInsider so far with #3 being my favorite book :)
