Busiest days at each park

I found this information on another web site and I just wanted to see what you all thought.

"Plan to arrive to the Disney World area on Thursday. Both Friday and Saturday are transition days for park visitors, especially in the summer months. Saturdays do draw in more annual pass holders to the park, but that is the major day that people either arrive or leave the area. This causes attendance figures to be down, making it a best time to visit Disney World parks.

What days are historically the busiest at the Parks?
Walt Disney World parks tend to be the busiest on the following days:

Magic Kingdom: Monday, Saturday & Sunday
Epcot: Wednesday & Friday
Disney-MGM Studios: Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday
Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday & Friday"

Want to be able to plan my days out in advance if possible.

TIA

Too many things like special events, time of year, park hours, EMHs, various school breaks, etc. can affect park attendance on any given day, so I think it is hard to predict crowds by days of the week. If you are really wanting more info on specific days, I suggest visiting the touringplans.com website. There is a crowd prediction calendar that can be very helpful in planning your trip. It also gives advice on parks to avoid or go to on any given day. You can see the crowd levels for the next month, but to see beyond that you need to have access to the current Unofficial Guide to Disney World book. If your trip is more than a month out and you do not have access to this book, let me know the dates and I'd be glad to look up the info for you. Here is the link:

Thanks for the link. I have already purchased the 2008 version of the Unoffical Guide, but it won't be in for a couple of months. I'll keep an eye on that site each month until by book comes in to get an idea.

Actually, the best time to visit the parks is when there are no "Gays there". I wouldn't hold my breath for that, if I were you:lol: .

The busiest days for each park usually are the days the parks have Extra Magic Hours in the morning. So, if Magic Kingdom has a morning EMH, head to a different park!!!!

I agree with Jimmy Thick. IF you do go to the EMH mornings, hop to another park early on. In the summer, many of the evening emh can be so busy they aren't really worth it. I think finding the perfect crowd level during busy seasons would be pretty hard. Plan your days, make your ADR's and have fun!

I have no idea about the other thread references, but seeing as you only had 7 posts when you created this thread "Welcome to the boards".

Note..

Going out of your way to bully someone you've disagreed with in the past is not appropriate behavior.

I've not seen the past thread in question, but all I know is you guys are acting inappropriately and ganging up on someone. That's not acceptable behavior here - or anywhere.

There's a reason you can't see one of the past threads in questions; it seems to have been deleted by a mod. Now it's not for me to say the thread was deleted because the OP on this thread made a comment that was a: not only nasty, b: it was out of left field, and c: completely insulting to large group of people who did nothing to her. It could very well be the thread was deleted because I and others took umbrage fromher comments for the above 3 reasons and made our contempt known.

But you can still see her comment in the "Suggestion box" thread, if you care to look. It's...a little illuminating in regards to the rest of the discussion you're presently unable to follow.

Apparently she's read on the internets tubes that "Gay Days," an event WDW does not organize but does not discourage either, are essentially an excuse for patrons to re-enact Sodom, but, you know, with mouse ears. A big ol' identical-gendered pants-optional free-for-all. And as I said then, if you read about it on the internet, it must be true, right? Just like monorails to the AKL and DTD, Harry Potter landing in Fantasyland, and Disney joining forces with Microsoft to give everyone who forwards their chain mail $100. And she doesn't care for this unsubstantiated gospel truth not one whit.

That, apparently was her way of putting her best foot forward.

I agree that ganging up on one poster is NOT acceptable behavior, anymore than his/her walking into a group of people and insulting a large number of them was. I let a couple of comments stay on the suggestion box thread, because they were not a direct attack, but got your point across.

I'm editing the comments here, as 1. they are over the line 2. you know, and I know, they aren't going to change the OP's opinion *sigh*
