Buses from Epcot Resorts

We are staying at the Beach Club for the first time this year--also our first deluxe experience:) I am wondering about the buses-do they all stop at all of the resorts? What order do they drop off at or pick up at?

I'm very interested in the answer to this as well, as we're thinking of staying at the BC next year. When we had reservations at the Boardwalk and we were at AK, we hopped on the bus for BW, and found that:

We stopped at the Swan/Dolphin, Yacht Club, and Beach Club.

So I'm curious as to if this is the norm, or because we were doing this in the pouring rain at 3 PM, that it might've been just a slow time of day.:veryconfu

I have stayed at Boardwalk and many times the buses pick up at all of these resorts (Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin/Yacht Club/Beach Club). When they do make all these stops; it is the times that I hate the Disney Bus system.

The buses can got to all of the resorts but it is not uncommon to see a dedicated bus for places like MK during peak times (park opening and closing). If you are catching the bus off peak plan on stopping at all of the resorts.

I think that for me, the worst would be me hopping on a bus to see the Welcome Show at MK at 7:30 AM, and instead of heading straight there, we stop at 5 other resorts. Hoping that's a "peak" enough time that we'd go straight to the parks...

For AK and DTD the buses stop at each of the resorts. However, regardless of the time of year Yacht and Beach have their own bus while Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin have another.

The good news is that you only need to take a bus to MK and AK. Epcot and DHS are easy to get to from the BC.

In the morning, it seemed like I always take a dedicated bus to MK. Sometimes the AK one shares, and the water park buses always share.

While we loved staying at the Boardwalk, the bus/boat situation drove us crazy. We had been to WDW many times and are very patient people but the extra stops were frustrating considering it is a deluxe/DVC resort. We missed many welcome shows because our timing was off. We won't be staying there again.

We just got back from 8 days at the Yacht Club...here is what we discovered...

We did early entry every single day and the buses to MK and AK:
Every morning the bus arrived first at Yacht Club...then stopped at Beach Club...we heard lots of complaints from Beach Clubbers because some of them had waited for two buses already. So if you want to get MK early and have a chance at a seat on the bus you may want to walk to the Yacht Club bus stop it's not too far.

Return from Animal Kingdom will always stop at Swan, Dolphin, Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach. There is only one bus stop for all five of these resorts at AK and if you time it wrong you could be waiting for a while.

Return from Magic Kingdom will usually only stop at Yacht and Beach, but it could also stop at the others if it is crazy busy and your bus has room.

Epcot..I don't know we walked to and from every time.

Studios: early entry was crazy busy at the boat pier and they were running three buses..Yacht/Beach had one, Boardwalk had one and Swan/Dolphin had one. But on non busy times you will make all three stops.

We also noticed that for the early entry the buses really were running every twenty minutes..if we weren't at the bus stop before 7 AM we knew we'd be waiting until 7:20 and then face a stop at Beach Club..so plan accordingly.

If you have any kind of a bag it was best to split up because the crowds of people bringing in rolling coolers, bags of food, hiking style backpacks full to the brim were getting worse as the week went on.

If I remember correctly, there is no bus to Epcot's front entrance and it's faster if you take the boat or walk to DHS.
Great pool for big & little ones

Nice quick exit after Illuminations & I love the Boardwalk atmosphere
Enjoy :sohappy:

You are right. There is no bus to the front of Epcot. Some poor guy and his famiy was waiting at the bus stop for the bus and when our bus to MK arrived he asked the driver if he was going to Epcot too. The driver just said no he wasn't. So my husband told the guy he needed to go catch the boat to Epcot or walk over. I wonder how long the guy was waiting...there aren't any signs at Yacht Club...but there are at Beach Club. That part didn't make any sense. (the signs, not the buses)

What buses are you referring to with the studios. Those resorts have boat and walking service to the studios.

The one inconvenience about the EPCOT resorts transportation is that in inclement weather you are up the river without a paddle and you must wait until the weather gets better in order to walk or take a boat back to your hotel.

We found the bus transportation from the Beach Club to be very adequate, certainly no different than the bus transportation from any other hotel.

This is really only true when there is lightning within two miles of the boats' service area. Admittedly, this happens quite a bit during the summer, but usually for short periods of time. Rain without lightning won't stop them.

Sorry that was a typo....the sentence should have been "

Sorry if I confused anyone with that. The boats were fine...it was the bus transportation to and from AK that was the absolute worst...perhaps they think not many people go for a whole day...I don't know...we did one whole day here and it was crazy at the end of the night.
