Bus Stops

We are staying at POR in June. I was reading that there are 4 bus stops. Does each bus stop have all the park buses go to them or just certain stops for certain parks? I was also reading that the South stop fills up the quickest and is sometimes a lengthy wait, but by the time the bus makes it all the way around the resort the bus is filled pretty much to capacity. Any suggestions to this? I don't mind waiting or walking so the full bus isn't a problem, I was just wondering.

All four stops have buses that will go to all of the parks, DTD, etc. The south stop tends to be the busiest as it is next to the lobby but in the grand scheme of things it should not make much of a difference in when you arrive at the parks except maybe at peak times. And even then we are talking a few minutes tops. During peak times it is not uncommon for one bus to stop at the South depot while a second bus hits the other 3 stops. I would just go to whatever stop is closest to you at the time.

I have never seen any resort have only some busses except BCV and BW. Because of their location to EPCOT and DHS they have no stops because you can walk to WS in less than 10 minutes and take the boat to DHS. We stayed at BCV, and even though the resort was very nice, the best pool anywhere, if you wanted to get to future world when they opened you have to walk through WS and future world was pretty crowded by the time you made your way around.

If you're at the South Depot stop, there are two "platforms" (originally called "Mason" and "Dixon", but I think they're "Blue Bayou" and "River Delta" now).
One platform is for two of the parks, the other is for the other two plus Downtown Disney. Just check the sign on the front of the platform for which one you need to wait at.
The two platforms are only about 30 feet apart, so it's not a huge deal, but you don't want to be waiting for an Epcot bus and then have to go running when it stops at the other platform.

The other three bus stops are only a single platform.
