Bus from DTD to MK

How many car-parking-fees is WDW losing because of people parking at DTD and using busses? It can't be THAT many. The DTD parking lot(s) are not that big and they are hardly ever even close to being full.

Transport to and from the resorts should be limited to resort guests by having to show your resort ID (not necessarily the one of this particular resort but any Disney resort hotel), not only with the buses but also with the resort monorail because I didn't appreciate that when I was staying at the Polynesian a lot of day guests used the resort monorail to get faster to the TTC after park closing because the express monorail had long waits. Any transport between the parks should also be limited to resort guests and day guests with park hopper. If they enforce these rules then they can offer direct bus connection between the parks and DD again which I would really have needed several times during our last stay.
If this is an "elitist view" I don't care. We payed a lot and will pay again a lot to stay at Disney resorts, especially in the MK resort area and I really don't like to see that non-resort guests exploit amenities they don't pay for.

I definitely agree with you on the monorail. In my AI plan, only resort guests would be able to use the resort monorails and the Epcot monorails. Day guests would only be allowed to use the monorail from the TTC to the MK during peak hours. This would eliminate the problem you mention but also prevent a lot of wear and tear on the monorails and infrastructure.
