Bum bags

Dear Hubby would rather I just use a backpack or throw everything into his backpack. But there are just some things I can't ask him to carry for me. Also not into Vera Bradly Bags they just look ugly to me worse then packs/bum bags.
Agreed on all points. If I want a bag that looks like that, I'm perfectly capable of making one myself and not paying a ridiculous price for it. Only thing is, I don't want a bag like that! But, to each his/her own. We all like and appreciate different things, and that's what makes the world an interesting place!

True. I've never been a fan of the VB design either, but the wife loves the things. In all honesty I was just trying to get her the heck away from a pack. LOL I started looking at all kinds of other options, but as we walked through the mall one day she spotted one of these things and went nuts over it.

Totally agree to each their own, don't like the pack/bum bag-don't wear it, don't like Vera Bradley-don't buy it. Like pack/bum bag-knock yourself out and enjoy wearing it. Like Vera Bradley-the same knock yourself out.

Who cares if someone is wearing one while in WDW, I had too much to see and do then worry about what others were wearing. The only time I was worried about the actions of others at WDW was when the drunk guys tried to push my Darling Daughter out of the way so they could view MSEP in her spot. Then I stepped in and said something. Otherwise, I am at WDW to have fun, not to be a fashion icon. To each their own and may their choices bring then happiness! :)

I wasn't a fan of them, even n the 80s. They just felt weird to wear. If I liked them, I'd wear them!

I'm feeling kind of badly for people who like them, but don't wear them because it isn't the fashionable thing to do. Be cool. Set your own rules. Don't worry about whether your choices are currently IN or OUT, lol.

People who are truly cool don't have to worry about what other (less cool) people think of their pack.

Buck the peer pressure. Wear your pack! :)

I haven't worn a pack since the 90s. I do usually bring a very small wallet-type carrier that has my park tickets, a small amount of cash, my room key, photo ID and cell phone. It's configured in such a way that I can either put it in a pocket and use it like a wallet, or use the strap it came with and carry it like a cross-body bag or a purse. It weighs basically nothing, the only thing that weighs it down at all is my phone. I absolutely love it, and back before we had kids it was often the only thing I brought into the parks with me. Nowadays we have to bring a diaper bag with us, too, but the one we have can be worn as a backpack, so that can also be "hands free" if we want.

This previous trip was the first trip in a very, very long time that I was able to convince my wife to not use her pack. I bought her a Vera Bradley Hipster purse and she used it this time. She absolutely loved it.

I love the Vera Bradley hipster, I have two of them. One is the new black Disney design. It is the perfect bag for me at the parks or wherever.
