I am heading to Tokyo Disney in late Dec./early Jan. so this grabbed my interest, but it is regarding Hong Kong, not Tokyo. But it does make me want to research Hong Kong Disney!

Just saw this. VERY disappointing, this was one of the biggest rides Disney has done in awhile, instead of trying to be like HM they have created their own hybrid HM/ToT storyline and would have been sweet to go on.

If this is true, and the budget isn't used elsewhere in the expansion, it TRULY speaks to what Disney thinks of HKDL and the future. They don't care if they don't make groundbreaking attractions anymore, even to the park which needs the most work (since DCA is being fixed)

That's a shame, since that ride was going to be epic with the "Tokyo Pooh" trackless system.
