bubba gump's at citiwalk?

my next trip to orlando is at the end of february, with my daughter's dance team. the competition is at WDW and we're styaing on site, but coach decided that the team should go to citiwalk for dinner one night and she chose bummba gump's for the team dinner.

we have a bubba gump's in Times Square, but I've never been (never ate in the Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood here in NYC either, but I've dined in both in Orlando!)

anyone here want to give me a review?

They have awesome food! A friend of mine used to be a waitress there, so I've eaten there several times. They have something for everybody, literally almost any kind of shrimp you can imagine. They also have really good hamburgers and steak. They have my favorite garlic bread anywhere, offered as an appetizer. And they have several killer desserts, my favorite being a giant fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie pie with ice cream. Being based off of the movie Forrest Gump, there is all kinds of paraphenilia scattered around the restaurant pertaining to it, and the movie is playing at the bar. There is also a gift shop with a lot of cool Gump stuff.

Bubba Gump is amazing! Try the Bucket load of trash. one of the best meals Ive had in a long time

its a resturant with just about anything you could imagine inspired from the movie....

Forest's favorites.. or anything dealing with fish...

its worth trying at least once.

Funnily enough Im sat here drinking from a flashing Gump beaker. Have eaten there twice excellent service on both ocassions and the food was good typical chain resturant fayre.

Still preffer Margaritaville. :animwink:

I like Bubba Gump, but my friend loves it. She's a nut for shrimp. Me? Not so much.

Still, you can get some good dishes if you don't care that much for shrimp. I've had the southern fried chicken and a burger, both of which were good. I do love the atmosphere and the wait staff always has been great. Best part is the sign to call your server. I think signs like these should be standard at every restaurant. Really comes in handy.

Brush up on your Gump trivia because our server quizzed us last time as she took our drink order. :lol:

after I posted this, I spent a day in times Square with my 15 year old dd and two of her friends. and we wound up at bubba Gump's. the food was great! I hope the one in Orlando is as good.
